Prologue

"How did my life come to this dying in the bottom of a pit created by Satan himself"

We see a young boy laying on is back facing up toward the purple sky of the underworld. He's got light brown hair and brown eyes that look as if there's nothing there beside nothingness, further down to his chest his shirt torn open you could see black charred skin as if he was caught in a fire, in the centre of his chest there's a hole with blood gushing out if you look at the hole closer it looks as if something was forcefully ripped out with little care to what happed to the boy.

"spiting up blood" the boy kept wondering how he ended up here and it all leads back to one person.

"Rias Gremory your the reason I'm here if it wasn't for you i could still see my adorable little sister"

having bought up his sister he started to think about how she will react when she's told he died "probably gonna Cry your Eyes out for days sorry Suwei big brother isn't gonna be able to see you grow into the beautiful young woman i know you will be"

"Curse you Rias making my little sister cry if i somehow survive you will die by my hands"

Ryu started thinking about how this isn't the first time he's died. when Ryu was 6 he got hit my a car in a hit and run left there to die until Rias came and saved his life by reincarnating him inti a devil. After that he was taken to the underworld to stay with Rias as servants must always be close to there king. Ryu already know about the supernatural because of his grandparents who taught him and his sister about it, teaching them how to use magic and teaching Suwei about something called a sacred-gear which is a tool created by the Biblical God for humans to defend themselves against the supernatural.

After Ryu moved into the Gremory household it took him sometime to get use to all the maids and butlers but after a month he was as use to it as one can be. he also got along with Rias's family very well first there was lord and lady Gremory both of which taught him more about the underworld and how it works, both were very kind and treated him as a member of the family{even if the etiquette lessons with Venelana were embarrassing] the next member of the family he meet was her older brother Sirzechs Lucifer one of the current Maos of the underworld. When they first meet Ryu wanted to run for his life I mean who wouldn't when you meet some one so strong they can call themselves Lucifer, however after talking to him Ryu realised he's a very nice and and could almost see him as the older brother he never had. The last member of the family was Grayfia Lucifuge the head maid for the family and Sirzechs queen Ryu like spending the most with her as although she had a cold exterior she was one of the nicest people you could of meet as long as you don't get on her bad side, Ryu would follow her around all day with the excuse of just wanting to help her just so he could spend time with her and get to know her.

Know the relationship between Ryu and the Gremory family was great they treated him like family and he would help them when ever he could, however the relationship between Rias and Ryu not so much. Simply put Ryu didn't trust Rias him being able to see life force also allowed him to see a persons character and Rias's one made him uneasy. It got worse when Rias got her second piece in the form of her queen Akeno Himejima the girl for an 8 year old gave off an aura of seduction and it didn't take long for Ryu to realise she was a sadist and like to watch other people suffer when Rias got her third piece a young vampire/human hybrid called Gasper Vladi. Ryu decide to be a big brother figure to him and keep him away from Rias and Akeno as much as possible.

During the two years Ryu was in the service of Rias, Ryu got to meet a couple of differnt devils the first was Sona Sitri who was a friend of Rias Ryu and Sona became instant friends both enjoyed to play chess which made both have a healthy rivalry with each other, also when a Rating game was being broadcast they always tried to watch it together as both enjoyed to try to break down the peerage's strategy and device there own strategy this could go on for hours after the rating game had already finished just the two of them in there own little world enjoying each others company.
