I pull up to a house my mothers house to be exact. I get out the car and walk towards the front door. I knock on the door and my mom opens it. I break down crying and she holds me.
"I'm sorry" I say wiping my face
"It's ok I was going to do the same thing" she says
We walk in her house and sit down.
"Omg baby you grew up so much your so pretty" she says
"Thank you so are you" I say
"Rinn I never left you what they told you were lies" she says and kisses my cheek
"So have you been" I ask
"Good you"
"Doing better" I say
"Ohh I missed you so much everything about you even that mark on your eyelid" she says and smile
I was born with a white spot on my eyelid. I was about to say something before something catches my eye.
"You painted this" I ask standing up pointing to a painting
"Yea I painted you a prom send off I always thought I would be there" she says then sighs
She didn't miss anything I didn't go to prom or homecoming.
"Yea prom" I laugh to myself
"Like I said i missed everything about you, your laugh your smile but I don't remember this mark" she says touching my back
The burn mark from the hot comb.
"Yea uhh Shana gave that to me she burnt my back severely with a hot comb" I say and her attitude changes
"It's ok baby I'm sorry for what you went through with them but God will handle them Karma is a bitch" she says taking me by surprise
"Mom when did you start cussing"
"Just now don't get used to it" she says
We spend the rest of the time catching up. She showed me the many pictures she painted of me. My mother is artist.
