"Kairi cmere babe" I say and she runs to me

"Yes"

"Get your stuff we're gonna go"

"Otay" she runs and go gets her book bag. "I ready Rinn" she says and I pick her up putting her hood up on my head

I lock my shop and take her to the car putting her in.
"Seatbelt" I say watching her do it herself before I close the door getting in the drivers seat

I drive to the store

"Kai put one of those back" I say watching her hold princess fruit snacks and Toy Story fruit snacks

"No I want both"

"Kai you can't have both but I heard one of the fruit snacks is special"

"Which one?"

"You have to put one back for me to tell you" I say and she puts the princess fruit snacks back

"The Toy Story one's are special they come with a stiletto inside that you give to me" she smiles and tries to open the box

"No let me pay for them first" I say throwing them in the cart and she mugs me. "Quit you look like your daddy" I say

I get all we need and go home.

"Yes Kai" I say as I sketch

She says nothing and climbs into my lap laying her head on my chest.

"You sleepy baby" I say and she nods making me rub her back

I continue sketching for about an hour. I get up starting on dinner and Dave comes in.

"Hi" I say looking up at him while cutting chicken

"Hi" he kisses my forehead

I guess you can say we got together but it's not official, it just feels like that because he's always over my house, him and Kai. 

"Hi daddy" Kairi says jumping on my couch

"Kai" I say and she sits down

"Leave my child alone" he says picking her up

"Ok you gon be buying a new couch"

"Fine by me I got the money" he says

"Ok now your just being a smart ass"

"My fault" he says sitting down and I shake my head
