"Gethen"
When those words came out of Mr. Forkle's mouth, Sophie felt as if her legs had turned to jelly--or as Keefe would call it, the red thingy.
The whole world spun around her, the faint voices of her friends swirling around her.
"Are you okay?" Fitz's mental voice asked in her head.
She gathered her mental strength and managed to transmit a weak "I'm okay".
Then she felt the cold ring of a bottle touch her lips.
"Well, what are we going to do next?" Biana asked.
"I say we set up more security measures and lock them in the house," Sandor grumbled.
"Whoa, whoa! Is no one going to talk about how Gethen is Sophie's biological father?" Grady asked in disbelief.
"As of right now, I think we should just act like everything is normal. We can bait Honor out if we make it look like everything is okay," Mr. Forkle suggested.
"No, no way are we using them as bait," Sandor protested.
"Just so you know, they are going to be prepared for everything. They have backup plans and backup plans for the backup plans. They are super prepared for everything," Alvar piped in.
Everyone turned to him, surprised to see him still there.
"Uh, did everyone forget about me?" he asked with an eyebrow raised.
"Well--"
"Anyways, I think we should proceed with the plan that everyone goes back to Foxfire and act normal," Mr. Forkle suggested.
"I didn't think that was a valid plan," Sandor muttered under his breath.
"I mean," he said, raising his voice when heads turned toward him, "that it's still not safe enough even if there is more security."
"I," Sophie piped in, "think that that is a great idea."
"Of course you do," he grumbled.
"Then, everybody, go home and get some rest. I'm looking at you, Sophie," Mr. Forkle ordered.

The next afternoon at lunch, everything seemed normal. Other than the abundance of gray goblins walking around the hallways, nothing seemed out of place.
That is until they stepped into the cafeteria.
Sitting in the farthest corner was a girl.
A familiar girl.
She had raven black hair and indigo eyes.
And she was staring right at them.
Sandor pushed Sophie behind him and sniffed the air.
"That girl," he whispered, "has a peculiar scent on her."
"Then we're going to see her," Sophie said, marching towards the girl while Sandor rolled his eyes at her.
"Hello," Sophie said politely, "you seem very familiar. You wouldn't mind telling us who you are, would you?"
The girl slowly turned towards her, pulling her hair--no, a wig--off of her head, her eyes fading to an ice blue.
"I knew you would find me eventually."
--------------------------------------------
"No!"
Sandor yelled forcefully when he saw her.
"That shouldn't have happened. We were so thorough, checking everything and everyone."
