Enids pov:

I felt butterflies in my stomach.. I pulled away and smiled before returning to her hand, blood was still leaking from it but not as bad as it once was, quickly sealing it. "Thank you Cara Mia" I blushed, Wens walked away and climbed out of the window, She walked towards the edge of the balcony, Wens stood steady glaring at something in the distance

"What are you looking at?" I asked trying to make out what she was staring at "a person.. in complete black with two piercing green eyes" I looked at her in shock "it was staring at us through the window, I came out here and now its at the edge of the woods"

"I'm sure its nothing love" I said trying to comfort her, I doubted it was working, she place her hand on mine and we interlocked fingers, She rubbed her thumb lightly across my hand. "Alright, lets go help and cleanup downstairs, lets go Yoko so you can stop staring at me idiotically" Enid laughed as Yoko insulted me

We reached downstairs to find everyone cleaning up the school, repairing the tables and other broken items, as we reached the last step, everyones eyes where directed to us "the fuck?" I heard Yoko whisper "Mmm, no, girl you're on your own I'm gonna go over to Divina" with that she stalked off

Wednesday pov:

This is incredibly annoying, why are they all just staring, its not like i saved the school or something, oh wait i did. Enid squeezed my hand harder "can we go upstairs? It's crowded down here" she whispered I obliged and we continued upstairs, we started cleaning the classrooms.

This was kind of like a free pass to look around through the professors items, lets just say i found some terrifying items.

I was cleaning the classroom window when i saw it again, its sleek body covered in a black fabric, a black hood over its face, the only thing visible from this mysterious being is its almost lime, green eyes

I immediately rushed out of the classroom, only to find it missing, I kicked the floor and walked back into the classroom. "What was that.." I looked up and Enid looked scared shitless "why are you so scared?" She pointed behind me and the thing was standing back in its original position

Now there eyes weren't the only visible thing, a smile played across its face, stretching across its entire lower half of its head, it opened its mouth, seemingly saying something, but the words were lost from someone screaming outside. The thing gave us one more look and vanished.

"Wednesday..What was that?" Her breath hitched, "I.. I don't know, but i know its targeting one of us"

No one pov:

For rest of the day Wednesday stayed by Enid's side, not daring to leave her alone. Around 3pm they went back to the dorm

"Cucciolo can you get dressed please?" Wednesday asked, Enid gave her a confused look but went to Wednesday's closet and pulled on a black hoodie and skirt. She wore her pink converse as well.

"Were are we going?" Enid asked, "out to the coffee shop, for a little date" Enids face lit up as they stepped out of the dorm.

They held hands as they walked to Jericho, Talking about what had happened the previous few days. They arrived at the Coffee shop and ordered there drinks. "Mi amore, I will be back in a minute, I need to go get something real quick" Enid gave her a nod and a quick kiss on the cheek and off she went

Wednesday pov:

I entered the antique shop, walking along the isles until i reached the clerk. Previously I had asked for them to keep it for me. I gave them the money and in return i got a small box. I rushed back to the coffee shop just as our items had arrived. "Oh your back" Enid said smiling "Indeed, I wanted to give you this" I place the box infront of her with a note

The note read: Dear Enid,
I have been wanting to tell you this for sometime but never got the chance, well let me start you off by saying that I love you dearly. Every time you smile i just fall for you all over again. You mean everything to me. And I promise to protect you and care for until my days come to an end.

Love, Wednesday

Tears welded up in her eyes and she opened up the box, Inside was a silver and pink ring with the initials EW inscribed, she immediately put it on and hugged me "why did you get this?" She asked

"Its a promise ring, I know we are only 16 but still, I want to spend the rest of my life with you"

Tears poured from her eyes as she smiled "Yes! I want to be with you too" She kissed me and we spent the rest of the day together, cuddling and watching movies, I wish this would last forever but sadly, all good things must one day come to an end (foreshadow?)
