Summary:

Slowly and slowly, as the Entity’s clock ticked by…

She never showed up ever again.

(Name) yelped when her foot gave out and she collided to the ground. The sky of the worned down Macmillan estate loomed over her crippled figure as she forced herself back up to her feet.

Ever since the trial with the Legion leader, she has been paranoid and hallucinating. His assaults and attacks reminded her of her father, beating her to oblivion and unconsciousness, until she no longer could feel pain. The memories of his fists slamming down upon her mask made her stomach churn grossly and she could still feel the broken shards of her mask poking her broken face.

(Name) shook her head and began working on the final generator. Throughout this entire trial, the killer had been silent for some reason. Jake came over and helped her while she could make out Yui and Nea running towards the direction of the gate.

The final generator sounded and (Name) got up. Dusting her pants, she told Jake she was going to check out the chests to see if there were any items that could be saved for the next trial.

Ever since she had fallen into the Entity’s realm, the killers whom she had humiliated had been mercilessly haunting her teammates down. There was a small chance that one or two of them would escape, but the chances were small. It was as if the killers were doing this on purpose, to mock (Name) in a way… that the only way her friends could escape was for her to be in the trial.

Though, that didn’t stop (Name).

Her previous trial was against the Oni again and she was so terrified of him that she climbed up a tree. The man was too tall and heavy to climb as he could only glare at her, until he decided to start smashing his kanabo against the trunk. (Name) was freaking out but the moment he broke the tree, it tilted and landed straight on the Oni’s frame just in time for the last generator to pop.

(Name) scurried towards the chest, located deep in the main building. There were litters of nails and bolts across the side and her eyes lit up when she spotted the chest. She was about to go there when her foot gave out once more - due to exhaustion, and she fell against the nails.

Her skin wasn’t pierced or anything but her sweater was ruined by the bolts, the sharp nails ripping the wool and fabric apart. (Name) panicked and she tried to pull her sweater out of the nails but it was no use.

All of a sudden, giant footsteps were heard and her heart dropped at the thought of a killer finding her here. She tugged harder, squeaking when her sweater’s back was ripping apart - revealing her bra strap and back, as the man got closer and closer.

His shadow fell over her and (Name) braced herself for pain.

It didn’t come.

Noises were heard and she looked up to see Bubba, bending down and pulling the nails and bolts out of her sweater with his great strength. The man threw them to the side and he blinked at her, making out some piggish noises.

There was a silence between them until Bubba slowly held out his hand.

“Bubba!” (Name) smiled behind her mask and took his large hand gently, “thank you!” she nodded at him as he pulled her up.
