Seeing self is the acceptance
Of whom you are and to what
Has happened to you both
Positive and negative
Throughout your lifetime thus far
And at times unsure of who you really are
The internal shows one thing
But the outer reflection staring back
Displays a whole other person
From smiling to crying
From frowning to enjoying
As it goes and the whatever
The for certain and the never
The mistakes and the very clever
Turning right
Turning left
And at times the something else
For the first place for any of us
To start or began
Is when it comes to
Seeing self
