Tw: forest fires
Today another adventure is in store for the Blue blur & his new fox Sidekick and baby brother, Tails. The duo traveling from their temporary setup on the Westside island (where they met) and their searching for new places to explore.
Their currently in the tornado. Sonic's Biplane which he definitely bought legitimately and didn't steal from the mechanic he met on Christmas Island.
On the ride we have Sonic on the wing and Tails in the cockpit being the pilot on this ride. Now, most would think that it's pretty dangerous to let a 4-year-old fly a plane especially if he's hasn't been properly taught how to. But Tails is a special case considering he built a whole new jet booster for the plane to go faster than before.
And how cool is that?!
Ok it may be a little unsafe to take Tails on a mission with him but he's an attentive person and will keep his eye on the young fox. He's also still on edge about leaving the kit at home by himself especially if there's no way for Sonic to contact him.
So the best option is to bring him on another mission until Tails can defend himself properly.

"Hey Sonic look!" The hedgehog's thoughts were interrupted by his friend's voice and he looked to wards the direction Tails was pointing at; and there it was.
The Angel Island. The land of the ancient echidna race. No one lives there anymore though, the echidnas were wiped out long ago.
Seeing the Island within 'render distance' he signed to Tails that he was heading there first to get a good view of the forest perimeter. And he jumped of the tornado, transformed into super sonic and took off faster than the tornado was moving
As he made it on the island, enjoying the wind in his quills the feeling was interrupted by something hitting his face?! Wha-?
He didn't even really register what happened in time as he fell on the ground and the chaos emeralds were taken from his sides. He looked up to see an echidna laughing in his face.
"So YOU are the man who plans on hurting my island and is after the emeralds? Well. You thought WRONG" he yelled in his face before taking off
He gets up from off the ground. Blinking and shaking off the dizziness from the chaos energy invincibility wearing off. Trying to comprehend what just happened.
A random guy just PUNCHED the CHAOS EMERALDS out of Him.
What??

After some time Tails is by his side staring at the indigo colored hero. stuttering a bit, a sign of the Kitsune's nervous energy. Must be worried about a strong reaction coming from the older of the two. Not that Sonic noticed. Too caught up in the confusion that is throwing him off.
"Um Sonic? I may or may not have flown the tornado into a tr-" he cut himself off after noticing the dumbfounded look on his Mentor's face. He looked as if he'd seen a ghost.
"Sonic are you alright? Also why aren't you super-?"
"There was a random marsupial who just punched me took the chaos emeralds while laughing in my face!" Sonic's raspy voice was more then a little shocking for the younger.
"Oh"
(Well that's different Sonic doesn't Talk in full sentences often let alone yell them what exactly did I miss? At least he isn't worried about the tornado)
"Well then, W-we should get them back?"
'Way ahead of you' he Signed back at the fox
(That's more like the Sonic he knows )

Nothing of really noteworthy happened smash a badnik here, jump off a spring, swing off a rope, get launched sky high.
They kept moving forward at some point they ran up the hollow trunk of an old tree. Before stopping because of new machine in their path. They stood in front of it, watching as it launched several bombs in the air.
The bombs landed all over the forest, the whole place lighting aflame. And now the machine is gone as the two of them stand in the middle of it all.
This is fine. No issues at all, whatsoever.
Sadly they didn't bring any buckets to put out the fires.
