Cover Breakdown (5 points)

Design (4 points): ensure your book cover is aesthetically pleasing and professional, with a clear title and author name 

Blurb (1 points): not cheesy/cliche, good indication of your story without spoiling the plot, catches the reader's eye

Plot Breakdown (10 points)

Pacing (3 points): neither too slow nor too fast, keeps the reader on the edge of their seat, all scenes serve purpose

Character Development (3 points): characters develop believably and with purpose, less to no cliches

Settings/Descriptions (3 points): setting is clear, not confusing, simply or beautifully described but must be clear

Uniqueness/Creativity/Impression (1 point): how different your story is to other Wattpad entries we've read

Grammar Breakdown (5 points)

Grammar (4 points): basic grammar, correct tenses and apostrophes, no run-on sentences

Formatting (1 point): dialogue should be in quotes, etc
