Storming Secrets

The following morning Selene woke up to the loud set of laughter going off . She and Lucian shared the same cabin while she had the upper berth therefore she could look out the part hole .
Over the wide blue Mediterranean sea on which the ship sailing towards the east , it seems to be very quiet and peaceful unlike the crowded dusty cities and towns , she could hear Lucian's soft snores under the bunk while she sat dangling her legs gazing at the horizon where the sun is beginning to rise .
Their next cabin seems to be pretty cheerful with their loud chatters that they had woken up quiet early.

        A few conversations exchanged between an old man and two middle aged men if you could guess by the voices. Later Lucian came out the washroom and was beginning to dress and Selene slipped to have a bath and by the time she entered the cabin he had already left the room all to herself, she got ready dusted her fake pasted moustache, wore his hat the typical Charlie vibe going off .
Later that morning they both had lunch at the food court on an isolated table by the corner looking out the ocean .

Two other men joined on their table , one was quite an elderly man around his 50's and the other a captain with a long ginger moustache curled by the sides oddly aged 46 . " Ay! Young men w'er  're  ya off  ta ? " Asked the captain ruffling his oddly looking ginger hair .
" Mumbai for trade "  "Two  'ansome looking men , one a little too scrawny for a fit man shooting at Charlie, selen's heart stuck in her throat, ' will he find me ?"
Lucian engulfed her palm and gave her a look that calmed her down and replied "my little brother eats a lot but never puts on , but he's very efficient and smart you would not want to be on his bad side I promise "
"Ayeeee! I was just playing around " laughing and giving a bro punch at her chest .

The rest of the weeks went pretty normal till the day they arrived at the docks in Mumbai, they booked a hotel in an in for their stay . Did a few investments , bought two estates and invested in commercial crops . They were invited to the Pierre mansion which was quiet luxurious owned by the old man who was at their next cabin who they became instant friends with just by their warming aura. The father and the son had been living here because Harvey was a general and his wife died catching a disease out in England and he bought his son back with him to look after and he had no reason to return back . His son Andrew is now a  colonel leutinent .

This was a remarkable incident on their journey , they established a spices , perfumes and soap  manufacturing factory while their few months of stay and returned back home wealthy with good worth of thousands of pounds, on their way back they gou caught in a storm , the passengers were in a frenzy Charlie was panicked , sitting up to the ship moving animously and people screaming their lungs out. The high tidal waves swishing and swirling around , Lucian abruptly dashed out his bed and pulled Selene down for a warm tight hug frightened that something would happen to her .

"Hey! Brother I'm all right just started but your all choking on me " coughing loudly exaggerating her Melo drama to ease the awkwardness that was to come afterwards, his protective stance is more like of a mother for her cubs but it was too stoic for Selene to understand even though she is the same when looking after her brother like a spoilt son on a daily basis with his coffee at his due time from washing his clothes to scolding at him when entering the house with his muddy shoes .
                "You know I'm not ready to lose you that's why I had to rethink this decision" he said " nether am I ! " She exclaimed "that's why I decided to tag along, see I'm perfectly alright as long as I'm with you " giving him the reassuring look breaking away from his grasp.
                  Just then two men barged inside informing that everyone to be on the inside of the deck . Everyone slept together on the massive hall in the under deck . 

Lucian cornered Selene going all mother bear on her , she was trapped between the wall and Lucian's back blocking her from everyone's veiw " you bastard put your arm down it stinks" hitting to the back of his torso faid Selene
yet Lucian took no notice keeping his back to her and his arm up and stayed still till her little banters were off and fell asleep eventually.
Sighing in his heart that he will have to give up as she is aging soon and would he handed over to another hoping that he would find an eligible spouse for her to respect and protect her unlike his worry for his other sisters marriage since  she had been with him all along and worried more for her .
One night left to land safely home and chuckling at the thought of him giving her out at marriage and how betrayed she would look because the last thing she wants is to depend on a man other than for him well not practically since she could deal with herself except for her naively nature.
