It was late at night, and Ryujin still couldn't sleep. Yeji was on the other bed, peacefully dreaming away(or so Ryujin thought), while she herself continued to stare at her phone's screen. So this is what insomniacs feel like... she thought while the thoughts in her head swirled over one another, unable to rest. Just like her.
And now she was feeling guilty for blocking all her friends. She was only here for two days, sure, but she already missed them. However, she wasn't going to turn her notifications back on. No way in hell. She could already predict the results: 89 missed calls from YuTuna, 53 missed calls from Auntie, and 4 missed calls from LiliUnnie.
Yeah, just thinking about it was giving her a headache.
For distraction, she decided to switch to a news outlet.
Specifically, PingPingPing.com...
She truly regretted her decision.
Because splattered on the front page, in all its red headliner glory, was a picture of her and Yuna, and the caption, 'SHIN DUO GONE MISSING?'
She shut the website. Where the hell did Yuna go now?
Ryujin sighed. All this drama over a necklace and a pendant. Exhausting.
And a broken relationship you never got over, tangled feelings, drunken night, and her damned eyes.
Ryujin knew she wasn't getting any sleep tonight.
(Yeji's P.O.V)
Aish, why couldn't she just fall asleep?
Unknown to Ryujin, she'd spend the last five hours on the other side of the bed staring at her phone, unable to doze off in preparation for tomorrow. She knew that she couldn't keep avoiding the talk with Ryujin forever, because it would only end up backfiring on her. But she couldn't do that on no sleep and a headache. She'd lash out, and then they'd fight again. Yeji wanted to end their relationship as peacefully as possible.
God knew that it was going to be hard for her.
She sighed, and tiptoed her way out of her bed to get a glass of water. As she was pouring water from the jug, a shadow came behind her and grabbed her from the back.
"Ryujin?! I told you we weren't talking- huh?"
Long story very short: the shadow was definitely not Ryujin.
