Chapter 12

Chuuya POV:

After a while of driving into nowhere, we arrived at some city gate. And it actually was the exit of Yokohama.. "Woah, didn't think we'd drive that far!" I was trying to figure out exactly where we were because I left my phone at home, meanwhile, Dazai was just sitting in the car, looking at his device. I angrily looked at him, pissed he wasn't helping me out. "HOW ABOUT YOU HELP ME DAZAI!?" I shouted. He put his phone down and put it into his pocket.

"We're in the north of Yokohama, and over there, there's Kawasaki. We can even see their buildings. I thought it was obvious?" He didn't look at me but just smiled while he put his hands behind his head. But on the other hand, it took me by surprise. "Tsk.." I looked away. "Does this asshole think he's better than me?!"

"So Chuuya, tell me.. am I getting what you promised?" At the moment, I couldn't remember what I had promised to him. I turned my head to face him, confused. "Oh, c'mon! Don't tell me you forgot, Nakahara Chuuya!" 

"HUH!? DON'T CALL ME BY MY FULL NAME BASTARD!" But then, I suddenly remembered what I had apparently promised to him. "No." I said while giving him a cold look. He then went from excitement to disappointment. He just sighed and put his legs on the space of the car he had in front of him. Like it wasn't my car, I didn't really care. Then, we just sat there, with an extremely awkward silence when Dazai eventually broke it. "Sooo.. wanna tell each other something we like about the other?"

"Isn't that like a kid's game? I'll remind you we're 22, asshole."

"Oh come on! It'll be fun! Ok, I start!" He thought about something for a few seconds and gave his answer "one thing I like about you is.. your height!"

"HUH? WHAT'S THAT SUPPOSED TO MEAN? ARE YOU MAKING FUN OF ME!?"

"Am not! Just continue! Tell me one thing you like about me."

"Tsk.." I thought of it: "why does he make me play this..? Ugh, I could say his hair? Or maybe his sense of humor.. wait shit, it's terrible.. Oh wait! I know.." I took my hat off my head and put it on Dazai's. "I mostly like.. your eyes."

"Oh? Well, I must be lucky that the Nakahara Chuuya doesn't fully dislike me! He even lent me his hat! Isn't it nice, chibi?" I laughed and punched him in the shoulder. "Shut up, Dazai," I said while still laughing.

"Wait is that a laugh? Did I make you laugh, Chuuya? I really am the chosen one!" He then continued being silly and I still continued laughing but trying to control myself as much as possible. But ended up crying of laughter with that guy. 

He then looked at me. And I looked back. "I mean- your eyes aren't terrible as I thought. They're quite pretty if I can say." This compliment took me by surprise. "Wasn't expecting that from him.. so he really does like me?"I checked the time, trying to distract myself. "16:53 pm?! Already!? I spent my entire afternoon in a car with him?!" 

I put my phone down, noticing Dazai still looking at me. "What you're looking at, Mackerel?"

"Oh, thought it was obvious that it was you.. may I do something?" I was actually worried he'll do something stupid because that's usually what he does but nodded anyways. He then took my hat off  and held it between our faces "Dazai, what are you doing-" I wasn't able to finish my sentence when I felt his lips on mine. 

I closed my eyes as we were passionately kissing each other. I felt a hand go behind my neck. He then started using his tongue, and so did I. I put my hands onto his waist, trying not to fall from my seat. I then moved closer so he could kiss me easier. I felt the warmth of Dazai's body while our tongues were together. Our lips finally broke contact, with still a little saliva connected. I felt rather.. happy. I could still feel his taste in my mouth.. but it was worth it. He then let go of my neck and I let go of his waist. We both looked at each other. "Wanted to do this, chibi. Let's be honest, you aren't terrible for a first french kiss~"
