Chapter 15

Dazai's POV:

It has been over two weeks since he got mad from a stupid reason... I understand if he needs some space, but I miss him! I did see him though, one time he was fighting and I was happy to see him and wanted to have a decent apology, because that's what he mostly wants, but he just ran off. But today, it was the 23 April. I just needed to apologize to him or the guilt will stay. I had permission to leave work earlier, due to my "break-up", that's what everyone thought, even Atsushi!

 I rushed to the nearest flower shop I could find. While running, I felt that gentle, cold breeze on my face, which reminded me of the winter spent together. Eventually, I found one near the Port Mafia building. When I entered, I saw all types of flowers, and they were gorgeous. I went to the cashier, to ask a question: "hello miss, may I please buy some red camellias please? It's for a present."

"Oh, it's for your lover I presume? 'Cause you might know they mean love and passion!" She said with a big smile on her face.

"Yes, you are correct. I'll wait here until it's done." She then went to pick those flowers up. I, meanwhile, was waiting for her by scrolling on my phone. I looked at the shop's window noticing the beautiful sunset upon me. But then, I saw a very familiar ginger, walking its way home. Suddenly, he turned to face the flower shop. Then he stood there. I rushed to hide behind some flowers, in the hope he wouldn't notice me. A few seconds later, I heard the door open. And indeed it was Chuuya. He went to the cashier's desk, waiting for her. She then rushed back, all smiley to her desk. "Here are your camellias- oh hello sir! What can I do for you?"

"I actually was wondering if I could buy some red camellias."

"Oh, sure! What a coincidence, a man not so long ago asked for this type of flower! Oh well, funny thing, isn't it?" Then I noticed a little smile on his face. "Indeed it is.."

"Is it for someone special?"

"Actually, my boyfriend had left for an uhh- a trip! Yes a trip, and he's coming back tonight so I need to buy those, it's his favorite flower."

"Oh well! I'll be right back once again!" She then put the flowers on her desk and rushed away again. He got closer to the flowers, examining them. I noticed how beautiful he looked from the angle I had. Especially, I spotted some braided hair going down his right shoulder. "Woah.. did he braid his hair? Aww.." he then stood right up once again, and he was hesitating to do something.. "Dazai? You here?" He called out. I instantly froze. I couldn't just stand up so I remained hidden. She came back with the flowers, he paid and left. And when he left with his flowers, I came out of my hidden spot to pay and leave too afterward.

"ok Dazai, you can do it!" I was at Chuuya's door.. hesitant to knock. "Well, there goes nothing." And knocked. A few seconds later, I saw Chuuya, still wearing those fancy clothes and still his hair braided. He then was about to close the door but I stopped it with my foot. He then re-opened it. "What do you want Dazai?" He said, pissed.

"I wanted to apologize. I didn't mean to ban you from your favorite cafe and compare you to your boss, so may I enter-"

"No." I was trying to make a puppy face, but he showed zero emotions. I just stepped back and handed him the flowers. "Well, I'll be on my way, thanks for accepting my apology!" I was about to leave when- "wait! Dazai- stay."

I turned around and happily walked into his apartment. I noticed that it had a sweet aroma and the warm temperature was the icing on the cake. "Oh? You're cooking?"

"I actually was.. uhh, wanna stay for dinner?"

"Of course! I do enjoy your cooking~"

"Tsk.. just go put those flowers in the living room." And I did as I was told. I went to the living room and put the flowers on the table. I came back to the kitchen and sat down on a chair at the dinner table. When Chuuya brought all the food, it was all different kinds of food, and shockingly, my favorites. "Woah, did you predict I was coming or what?" He then just giggled a little and instantly came back to himself. "No, I'm lately hungry, so yeah.."
