Anirudh's POV

"Mishti....ei Mishti cholo bhetore cholo. (Come, get inside)" I commanded Bondita as she answered gaping strangely at her departing injured friend raising my concern for her health more as the weather suddenly began transforming it's shape into thick clouds taking over the dusk skies.

Bondita (disinterestedly looking at me) - Ha aschi Pati babu. Cholun (yes coming, let's go)

"Mishti.... Is everything fine? Are you alright?" I shot at once getting into our hall area supporting her by shoulders.

Bondita (with a distracted smiling) - Yes bor babu, I am fine now. Let's have our dinner then we'll have to prepare for talking to our school headmaster moshai & prodhaan sir tomorrow. After all preliminary tests are getting over and I am planning for a 15 days leave now. A critical request I don't think they'll easily agree after what happened today.

"Bondita" I assured drawing a heavy sigh cupping her cheeks as a comforting gesture "Don't worry, your pati babu knows how to get an approval out of them without further drama."

Bondita (chuckling happily) - Shotti!!

"Teen shotti, Mishti" (3 truths) I answered joyfully responding to her in our signature style.

Bondita (grabbing my palms excitedly) - Thik ache bor babu, so now I'll first finish my revision and then I shall arrange our things for packing from now itself as I just can't wait to go home.

Trilochan RC (agitated) - Bouma come here.

"Yes kaka shoshurmoshai" Bondita slowly stepped towards him lowering her head anticipating his next reaction.

Trilochan RC (with shooting eyes, gritting his teeth) - Bouma, I had always felt you are way more mature than other girls of your age. Now on the contrary, you have hit your puberty too. But, you disappointed me today. I never thought you would go to this extent under your parasol shade of impulsive bor babu.

"I am so....sorry ka...kaka sos" Bondita murmured fumbling with her saree end.

Trilochan RC (in a frustrated tone) - Na bouma... not this time. You planned and implemented your revolutionary designs without even letting me an inch of suspicion. Your husband is as hopeless as ever and even you Koeli....

Turning towards her, kaka continued and i stood silently at the hearing, as it was unnecessary to speak now, for I saw it coming yesterday itself.

Trilochan RC (in a throaty voice) - Bouma, I will not forgive your negligence this time around. You did not even think about us for a second. Did you ever think What that crooked gram prodhan could do to you and those boys had we not reached there along with the police on time? Had there been a minute's delay and something untoward happened to you then what would come to me? To your two brother-in-laws? To your Koeli didi? Kokhono chinta kore cho bouma? (Did you ever think)

"Kaka.....ka....please forgive her for this time atleast, I ensure you this does not get repeated, kotha dilam (I promise)" I tried convincing kaka in futility.

Trilochan RC (raising up his stick to my direction) - Ei tui chup kor (You keep quiet) you better keep all your empty promises to yourself. It's all because of your triggering and thoughtless motivation that bouma took this ultra brave revolutionary step risking her life, us.
Na....Na Anirudh this can't continue like this. Freedom and revolution is never absolute in nature. That too comes with responsibility. But, you don't have time neither interest to comprehend the repercussions that can follow if you fail to fulfill your responsibility on time. Today, you saved her. But, what about tomorrow or in future? She needs to learn to fly in the open sky relying on the potential of her wings only. Isn't this what you believe in as well?
