I was fighting LBD,
landing a fatal blow before she started to fade she started to chant a spell and blasted it at me, I started to feel cold, the last thing I saw before collapsing was her smirk then everything went black...

//Time Skip//

//Macaque P.O.V//
Hours later we found the kid and nursed his wounds created by LBD, he was shivering but red son was able to lessen it and we continued with our lives. I started to bond with the (my) kid, he accidentally called ma and ever since I let him call me ma (privately ofc) and proceeded to gain feelings for a certain golden monkie yet I wasn't able to forgive him for what he has done, additionally I noted that something was off with the (my) kid. He wore jackets and coats and it's the middle of summer! Not unless you're redson which it doesn't bother him, secondly he was shivering and his temperature drop dramatically.
Lastly he doesn't like physical activity/touch which is abnormal for him, he likes to hug, cuddle up, holding hands, and other stuff that includes physical touch, so what did I do? Confront him of course, believe it or not, I grown a soft spot for the (my) kid.
I spotted him by a large tree in the woods and I snuck up on him and then "boo" I whispered playfully which was returned by fearful scream he whipped his head and saw me then relaxed "oh hi ma" he coldly mumbled "Hi cub" I spread my arms and he could only glanced and shook his head, what happened to MY kid..?
"Something bothering you cub?" "Well-" after the explanation I was shocked and was saddened,
"I promise, I will find a way" "thank you ma".

//Months later//
//Third P.O.V//
Mk was getting worse until macaque found a way however it came with a price....his life, 'I found it! Don't worry my cub, I'll save you..' the black fur monkie thought "Mac? You here?" A familiar voice rung thru the quiet air, "ya..in here" the yellow monkey followed the source "hey Mac, the kid told us what's happening with him..." "I know what is why I needed to find a solution, I found it.." the golden monkey strolled to the monkey holding the closed book and warped his arms around the monkie's waist and the black haired demon turned his head and was met by a kiss and tail hugging his tail, taking macaque by suprise. Macaque remembers that this is the last time they will ever be together, letting the book go and fully turning around hugging and kissing back, he did something he hasn't done in a while...cry..
Wukong swipes the tears out of his eyes and breaks the kiss, he whispered nothing but sweet things to his ears and embraced him tightly. After what happened they got ready for the ritual, without anyone knowing that he has to sacrifice himself to save his cub..but what do they say, Mothers are willing to take risks for their children even if it harms them.

//Wukong's P.O.V//
We started the ritual but something felt...wrong.. macaque was chanting when tang interfere "WAIT NO MACAQUE STOP!" Macaque continues to chant and resume the ritual "STOP IT WILL KILL YOU!" when I heard those word my heart froze and my body acted quickly trying to stop him but it was to late..In my arms was a dying, cold macaque "no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, Liùěr" I received a gently, weak kiss and felt a tail on mine and hand on my cheek. The grip was fading away and the last words I heard broke my heart, "I love you Sun Wukōng, take care of Qi Xiaotian"
Then he went quiet and still as stone, he felt cold.. My mango was no longer with me, I tightened my grip and mumbled for him to wake up to joke and tease me..

But nothing, pure silence
"Ma..?" I saw mk standing there crying, I opened my arms and mk
rushes towards me and sobbed,
That night we lost a loved one.
