A,N: I am back dear readers! And no, I am not dead or anything like that. Just had a life and realized I have way many stories that I can chew at the moment. So sorry for that. Do not have a planned-out schedule since some had priority on some stories. But if every goes as planned, Digimon is the next one I update. However, I hope you will like this arc v chapter. Tossed in some few surprises. :D Hope that interests you. Have fun reading.

Gili's p.o.v.

I was staring. Really staring. How could I not when Gong had just synchro summoned a level 10 super heavy samurai monster to the field. And not only that. it was also a monster none of us knew nothing about. My brother included. Seems like Gong had been taking secret training missions since we saw him last time. This was not good. This was not good at all.

"I can't believe Gong synchro summoned", my brother uttered in disbelief.

He was saying the things we were all thinking. How the heck could Gong Synchro summon. With its 2400 att and 3800 def points it was a monster to be feared. Sure, it was still in defense mode, but if this monster was anything like the rest of Gong's monsters, it could attack with its defense points. 3800 defense points was a hard pill to swallow.

"Gong isn't playing around. Gong is going to do whatever it takes to win this duel, and believe me Gong will", Gong confirmed in a firm tone. That was a determined threat if I ever heard one. Gong was not holding back for sure.

"Stop right there!", Gong's father, sensei strong suddenly shouted, and got everyone's attention. "I do so declare that my son Gong has just lost this match!". That of course threw everyone for a loop. Including Gong and Yuya.

"But... they are just getting started", I could hear Zuzu say rather confused.

"Yeah, why did he lose?", Alie, Fredrick and Tate uttered in unison.

"A heart that remains strong and steady is the foundation of the heavy strong style. You lost the moment you stole a technic from another school", his father clarified.

"Gong did not steal any secret technic. Gong begged him to teach it to me", Gong stated with a huff. "You should know. You were there daddy". That did indeed make Sensei Strong's eyes widen in disbelief.

"Huh? Who did you beg? Who taught you?", Yuya asked him.

"Who else, but Kid blade", Gong muttered embarrassingly. "You see, Kid Blade appeared at the dojo that day. The day he didn't get a chance to duel Gili at You show duel school. You do remember Gong issuing a challenge to him remember?".

"Ah right. He was supposed to duel my sister until this other LID guy took his spot. That was tough break. But I doubt he would have stood a chance against Gili. Wait are you saying he is a Synchro summoner?", Yuya said and looked stunned at him.

"That's exactly what Gong is trying to learn everything Gong could about how Kid almost did it, so Gong swallowed his pride", Gong explained further. He was now looking over at his father. "But Gong didn't want to learn to Synchro summon so Gong could win duels with it. Gong learned it so Gong could create a whole new heavy strong duel style".

"A new kind of heavy strong duel style?", Sensei Strong questioned.

"We just can't stand still daddy. Why, our heavy strong duel style needs to grow and evolving. Or else it will die out like the dinosaurs", Gong explained in a firm tone.

That had me surprised beyond belief. My gaze flickered to the cards in my deck case. Seems like I was not the only one who wanted to evolve and become a better duelist. Why else had I been training so hard with Cami and Sora to master Fusion and Xyz summoning. It was clear Gong had hit a nerve here.
