Meetings with 'Bait' part 2.

A,N: Sorry for the wait you guys, but here is the next chapter. I had a little trouble with my other stories and were more or less sick last week. Hope you can forgive me for making you wait this long. This chapter hopefully makes up for that. Please give feedback in what you think. Would like to be better. 😊

Sorano p.o.v.

A little bit earlier.

Sorano sneered annoyed. Right now, he was in the control room of LID. He was in his usual attire and had been following the events with Yuya and Silvio, and how Silvio had gotten Yuya to their dueling stage and stole Yuya's pendulum cards. That didn't surprise him one bit since that had been part of their plan. However, what hadn't been part of the plan was Silvio now dueling Yuya with his pendulum cards. He should bring the cards here, not duel! That annoyed Sorano to no end.

"Dueling wasn't part of the plan. Your orders were to bring the pendulum cards to me right away!" Sorano now hissed in the intercom on his duel disk.

"Ha, that was your plan" He could hear Silvio reply and on the computer screen he could see Silvio smirk confidentially "My priorities are a little different understand. You of all people should know that, since you changed the script a minute ago. I plan on keeping those rare cards for myself".

"You egotistical idiot! You dare defy a direct order" Sorano sneered and slammed his hands down into the table. He couldn't believe the rebellious actions of his subordinate. "Bring us those cards now, or so help me...".

Sorano was about to say a lot more. Like how they knew of his family and other suitable threats, but he was stopped when Declan suddenly entered the scene.

"No! Let him be Sorano!" Declan's voice was firm as ever, and it made the black and blue haired teen turn surprised towards the president of Leo institute "Do not interfere with Silvio".

"Declan? Are you back so soon? I didn't think we would have to start on that conversation from be... What the heck happened to you?" Sorano questioned confused as his friend marched in here.

A common usual person wouldn't have noticed that anything was wrong when Declan entered in here. However, Sorano was not considered normal by any means. He was Declan's friend, and he knew right away that something was wrong. That and the gloomy aura around him revealed a lot.

"Nothing" Declan just replied and made a gesture for Sorano to move away.

"It doesn't seem like nothing" Sorano mused as he got up from the chair, so Declan could have the seat instead "Wanna talk about it?".

"No, not really" Declan just replied in a calm and collected tone. However, Sorano never gave up that easily.

"I bet a coin on that it has something to do with that Gili girl, am I right?". Just mentioning her made the gloomy aura rose.

"Yep, I thought so" Sorano mused and sighed inside. Guess their squabble from before had to wait. His friend clearly needed him here.

"So, what? Your plan with getting your hands on the girls pendulum cards backfired? You can always try again..." Sorano then mused "You and I have always been able to get what we wanted in the end, so there is no need for you to be down...".

"I already required what I needed from Gili Sakaki" Declan just responded in a casually tone "Seeing her pendulum cards was most enlightening".

"If you got what you wanted then... why the heck is you being this gloomy?" Sorano questioned confused. This made no sense. Declan snort coldly.
