Cheryl called Abraham later that day.
"Abe, I need to talk to you now!" Cheryl screamed over the phone.
"I'll be right over," Abraham said.
Later he knocked on Cheryl's door. She grabbed his arm and pulled him inside.
"Oh, I see," Abraham said and smirked. He pulled Cheryl to him and kissed her. As their lips moved, she realized what was happening and pushed him backward.
"You think you can kiss me when you were all over Julia yesterday! How dare you! Whatever we are, its over!"
"What?"
"I know your secret."
"I know yours!" Abraham retorted.
"I don't have a secret you idiot," Cheryl rolled her eyes. Abraham snorted.
"Cheryl, I love you. But, let's be honest here."
"I don't know what you are talking about. But you no what I am talking about! Don't play games! You were all over Julia," Cheryl shouted. Abraham threw up his hands. Cheryl yanked the door open and gestured for him to go. Abraham gripped her arm before she shoved him out. He pulled her into a tight hug, from which she couldn't escape.
"I know you have undergone a lot. With peter's liver, and Henry. You just screamed at me for five minutes straight. I know feelings can get the best of us sometimes. But, you can't get mad at me for letting my emotions take over. My heart just wants to be loved." Cheryl sobbed into Abe's chest for a while. Then he pulled her face to his and kissed her. She enjoyed herself and pressed a bit hard. But she wasn't ready for anything serious.
"Ok, I'm done. Thanks Abe. I just needed to vent. That is true love," Cheryl nodded, exaggerating the last part. Abe laughed. They sat on the couch for a while. They snuggled and debated who did the crime.
"Has anyone considered Eli?" Abraham questioned. Cheryl shook her head.
"I still think it was suicide," she stated. "But you know, that is someone we haven't thought of. And, babe, I think we need to tell the gang." she laced her fingers through his and kissed his nose. They nodded and after Abe tried to get Cheryl to let him stay the night, Abraham left with Cheryl's heart. She had never felt so loved. He was all hers.
