Yuliana Petrov came to Canto because Businesses were stagnant, the lack of funds and materials were toxins that stopped the cash flow in the industry and she wanted to do something about it. She heard of a god that resided in a cave in the town but she merely treated it as heresy, she was a believer in science and economics and a wishing god that dwelled in a cave was the highest thing from logical.

That was well until she saw the fifteen-foot god made out of corpses.

Yuliana had a kid and was married to a husband that had another family, he had assassinated her father when she was 18 and after that day. She couldn't just leave him alone, so she followed him. Until it led her here.

Yuliana was a traveler, she visited the different parts of the world daily. This time Spain and once she came back here she was abhorred by the state it was in. She wanted to wish for a better economy but the blessed ones had told her that Ikarus could only change the world to a degree, so she wanted to have the knowledge. The knowledge of how to better her economy but more than that. She wanted something else from the god.

"Do you know the future?"

This was a question that had always boggled her, the texts had said gods were omnipotent and such meaning they knew actions before they were taken and events years before they'd happen. If this was true then that would be her wish.

"Some gods can, I am not one of them."

"But I can wish to have the power."

"Quality equals cost." Ikarus thought speaking in a language she was well versed in would work and it did.

The blessed ones didn't need to be asked questions about the choosing god before they rambled about him. They wrote books, created plays, sold merchandise all for Ikarus.

The better the wish the more dangerous the choices. That was what the blessed ones said, each deal made by Ikarus was a fair one despite how unfair it might have seemed. Rob wanted to wish for eternal riches so he was given choices equivalent to that which he desired. Nothing more and definitely nothing less.

"Why do you want to know the future?" Ikarus asked Yuliana who was pacing around him looking at the structure of his body.

"Why wouldn't I? I wanna see how the market develops and where my business is in a few years." Yuliana held a bright smile on her face.

"So it's your son." Ikarus heard a noise inside his cave but after the same noise didn't happen again, he assumed it was probably a stalactite falling.

"Haha," Yuliana laughed and came back to the entrance of the cave. "They did say nothing could get passed you."

"You want to see if he gets better in the future," Ikarus racked his brain, if she was asking him for the ability to see the future then she should've known. Surely she must've. "Why don't you just wish to heal him."

"There's something I wanna see."

She was serious, the human in front of him. However, she had an ulterior motive.

"Mind I ask what?" Ikarus stared at her face, looking for the slightest facial expression.

"I mind, now. Give me my choices." Yuliana was probably the first person to blue ball Ikarus as well.

Though he felt the urge to make her choices harder than they should've been, every decision made by the god must be equal. What is the price for seeing the future?

"Quite the hefty wish you want me to grant," Ikarus sighed. "You have two choices, Vladimir Petrov is the name of your son. You either kill him or you go to the other side of this cave and kill a man named Robert Williams. There is a knife on the floor, use that and kill him."

"And here I thought I concealed my motive." Yuliana laughed. "HE CAME TO YOU BECAUSE HE NEEDED MONEY TO HELP OUR CHILD!"

"A gift of eternal riches is not an easy one to grant."

"He loved me, I loved him. He said once he got the money he would leave his family and both of us would move to the south but you just had to spoil everything."

"So you wanted to see the future so you could understand how I die. God's all eventually crumble even though not by normal means, a billion years or two. You wanted to make two wishes."

"I'll kill Robert, you are going to die." Yuliana picked up a fallen stalactite and headed behind Ikarus. "The blessed ones say you can't make a wish that directly affects you but they never said I can't kill you by my own hands."

Ikarus looked at the woman as she walked toward the room Robert was stored in, he wasn't dead. Just in a state of paralysis, seeing the reoccurring events of his family's brutal murder over and over. It'll be a surprise if his brain still functions.

"I love you, Robby," Ikarus heard a thud and then Yuliana walked back to him and dropped the stalactite on the ground. Blood covered her white shirt and she used every ounce of strength she had to hold in her tears.

"You killed him."

"Yes, now grant my wish."

"You breached the direct terms of our contract, you will not be getting a wish."

"What?" Yuliana looked at Ikarus and the blue orbs in his chest were still blue. "Grant my fucking wish you, undead bastard."

"I said kill Robert with a knife that could be located on the ground and you proceeded to use a stalactite."

"You're fucking with me, he's dead. I killed him isn't that what matters."

"No. There would've been a different outcome had you used the knife. You went beyond my commands and now your soul is mine."

"No no, c'mon man tell me you're joking." Yuliana looked at the eyes of Ikarus and they didn't turn dark, she pissed her pants. "Fuck you PLEASE NO I HAVE A SON, HE'S ON HIS DEATH BED PLEASE DONT DO THIS TO-"

"You'll see your son again, I made sure of that." Ikarus looked at Yuliana as she fell to the ground. "Have fun, Mrs. Petrov."
