Nyxs pov
The gods suck. In the last few days I have been chased by monsters, broke a bone and a half, lost two friends, and gained one. "Nyx come on, we don't have time to stop!" Theo urged. "The monsters aren't that fast Theo, we'll be fine" I said "You say that but just wait until we think we're safe and then BAM we're dead." They grimaced "Do you have to be so negative? We're not going to die." I reassured them "Can we go now? Please?" They asked "Yes, we can go now."
We started walking "Are you sure this is a good idea?" They questioned "Are you having second thoughts?" I asked "No, of course not" they objected "but what if they find out" "They're not going to find out Theo." I said "You're the one who volunteered us for this, remember?" We walked in awkward silence for a few minutes.
"We'll be fine," I finally spoke "We just need to get to camp, spy, report back to Luke." "You make it sound easy" They replied "It kind of is." I said "And besides we won't be the only spy's there, Luke says there's like twelve more" "TWELVE??" They asked. "Mhm" I said "Look, we're almost there, just a few more miles."

We got to camp at around 11:00 PM. There were a few kids on border patrol. The minute we stepped onto half blood hill a symbol appeared above Theo and I's head. It was the mark of Hades. "Oh you've got to be kidding me." A girl said, "What's wrong with children of Hades, Charlie?" Another girl asked "Nothing Maya," Charlie replied "But we'll have to talk to Chiron because they're children of the big three and I do not want to have that conversation." "Just make Amilia or Percy do it." Maya said. "Uh guys?" Theo said "Right, sorry." Maya apologized "I'm Maya, this is Charlie" The girl waved "I'm Nyx and this is Theo" I said, Charlie made a weird face at the mention of our names, she was about to say something but she looked at Maya and stopped.
"We'll take you two down to the infirmary, that arm looks pretty bad" Charlie said "And Janvi can explain to Chiron the children of hades thing" Maya added
The girls walked Theo and I to the infirmary "Hey Vi? You here?" Charlie called into the infirmary "FINALLY!" A girl screamed somewhere from a back room "I've never been so excited to see a hurt person before" Janvi exclaimed "Are you good Janvi?" Maya asked "No, the Night shift is SO boring" Janvi said "Alright, anyways this is Nyx, they have a broken arm" Charlie said pointing at me "And that's Theo, there's probably something wrong with them" Charlie shrugged.
"And also they're children of hades so you've got to explain that to Chiron, bye bye!" Maya said, she grabbed Charlies arm and pulled her away before Janvi could say anything, leaving Theo and I alone with Janvi.
"Uh, stay here and I'll get you some ambrosia for that arm." Janvi walked out of the room, she came back a minute later with a small brownie square. She handed it to me "Sorry there aren't any healers here right now, ambrosia usually works good as a substitute, well unless you eat too much and burn up from the inside out," Janvi chuckled, she read the concerned look on my face "But that won't happen to you!" She assured "Right..." I said and popped the square into my mouth it tasted like fresh cookies.
"You two aren't very talkative." Janvi observed "Really? What makes you say that?" I joked. "Ignore them," Theo said "They're not really a people person" "Noted." Janvi responded "Alright, follow me we need to go to the big house." Janvi said.
We walked up to the big house and it was well, a big blue house. Really lives up to its name. There were two old people sitting on the porch playing a card game. "Excuse me?" Janvi said walking up to the two guys "Chiron can we talk? It's kind of important," Janvi whispered. "Yes Janvi. Excuse me Dionysus." The man said, Janvi looked back at us and told us to follow her.
"What is it?" Chiron asked. Janvi explained what Charlie and Maya had told her, our names, how we got claimed, etc. Chiron just nodded his head as she spoke. "We can't tell anyone." Chiron said "What? Why?" Theo asked "If Luke finds out there are children of the big three here..." "Luke? Who's that?" Theo lied "Doesnt matter." Chiron responded "There are other children of the big three here aren't there? Why should we have to hide when they don't?" I asked "It's different." "Why? Because it's Hades?" I spat. "Well frankly, yes." "Maybe we SHOULD tell Luke." Theo shouted. They ran out of the big house for dramatic effect. "They didn't mean that Chiron, they're just upset" Janvi assured. "Nyx, would you go get Theo? The two of you can sleep in the infirmary for now." Chiron said. I nodded and walked outside.
I spotted Theo sitting on a bench, I walked over to them and gave them a fist bump. "Good job, now he'll feel bad and maybe we can work our way up to trustworthy," I said. Theo smiled "Come on, we're sleeping In the infirmary tonight." I grabbed their arm and pulled them away from the bench.

I woke up at around 8:00 AM and nudged Theo awake. There were a few kids in the room, I only recognized two. One was the girl who we met last night, Charlie. "What happened to you?" I asked "I do NOT want to talk about it" Charlie replied "She got stabbed!" The other kid I recognized replied happily , It was Vic. Sometimes I saw her around on Luke's boat "It was really funny" "I hate you so much Victor." Charlie said "You know you love me" Vic teased.
We sat around for a few minutes until we got bored. "Wanna play a game?" Vic asked us "Sure" Theo and I replied. Vic called over one of the kids working and asked him for a deck of cards, he went to the storage closet and gave the cards to Vic "Thanks Audrey!" Vic said and dealt the cards to us. We all played go fish for a while before Charlie fell asleep.
An hour or so later a few more kid's walked in the room. One was Janvi, the others I didn't know "Who are they?" one of the kid's asked pointing to Theo and I. Janvi told her (which she was not supposed to do by the way) Theo smirked and whispered something about the girls in my ear.
Nicola came in to check in on the two girls and Janvi turned around and waved at us. As Nicola was checking out the girls arm. "Are you two coming to the Cabin decorating contest winner announcement? Wow that was a mouthful." Janvi said "Sure," Theo shrugged "no," I replied "Gods you're so boring" Theo teased "Fine, I'll come I guess" "Cool! See you there" Janvi exclaimed.
The time to the announcement passed slowly, only a few more kids came in, one was stabbed, another was sick, one came in because her blood sugar was low. Pretty basic things, I was actually glad when it was time to go to the announcement, beats being cooped up in a tiny infirmary.

The announcement was boring as I suspected, Athena and Apollo won. The only interesting part was the end, these two girls kissed and the crowd picked them up and carried them to the lake, me and Theo followed the crowd. They threw the girls in. Something immediately felt off. The crowd didn't seem to notice, I looked at Theo and they looked worried too. Then I noticed a girl screaming, she was trying to get someone's attention. She managed to talk to another kid who jumped in the water and pulled both of the girls out. I could feel their heart slowing down. It was the same as when my friends died.
The girl who pulled them out started cpr and another boy took over. "No pulse." He said "She's dead." The girl who got thrown into the water started sobbing, a boy next to her hugged her. "She's not dead." She kept repeating over and over. But something was off, this didn't feel like how it did when my friends died. She still had some life left in her. "Quick! Is there anything you can get to heal her? Like the food they gave me in the Infirmary?" I asked the boy "No that won't work." He replied. "The fleece!" The girl said "The what?" Theo asked "Izzy, quick! Go get the fleece off the tree" The girl commanded "Robin...I don't think we're supposed to..." Izzy started "Please!" Robin begged. Izzy ran off and returned with a Golden Fleece. She laid it over the girls body. I could feel her life force slowly coming back "Its working!" Theo exclaimed. The girl lying on the ground opened her eyes "Robin?" She asked. "Bea! Oh my gods I thought you were dead" Robin cried "Yeah, me too." Bea said.
