Ninjago High School

~Context: you are at school and at the side of the stage with the rest of the ninja, about to be introduced by the headmaster.~

The headteacher walks on stage and starts blabbing about some charity that the school is supporting and the after about 10 minutes of standing awkwardly they finally introduce you guys.

"And now, Ninjago High School, the Ninja..."

First Energy walks on, then Water, Ice and Moss. After that, Lightning walks on, and you and Fire walk on. The screams of the crowd are so loud you bet that Cyrus Borg can hear them on the 100th floor of his tower. You see handmade signs from students and some of your classmates. People shout "I love you"s at you all, and out of the corner of your eye, you see Gayle Gossip filming from a helicopter. Then, you look behind you and nod at the headmaster.

"Now. We would like some volunteers to try to defeat the ninja in combat. Who wants to fight Energy, the Green Ninja?"

A group of fans scream and hold their arms up as high as they can reach. The headmaster points at one of them who screams and quickly runs to the side of the stage. 

"Lightning?"

Another group, scattered this time, stretches their arms high, eager to be picked to fight a famed Ninja.

"Water-"

The headmaster didn't even get time to finish before around 20 people raise their hands.

"Ice"

Another group raise their hands. One is picked and they walk to the edge of the stage

"Moss"

Two or three people raise their hands.

"Fire"

About 10 people raise their hands, out of the rest of the crowd.

"Earth-"

Almost half the crowd raise their hands, thinking that they could beat you, the Master of Earth. You know that their hopes are futile, you have arms the size of small logs, from lifting large ones daily. Your workout routine is extensive and exhausting, but your rest day was yesterday, and you work out in the afternoon. One student is picked, and then the volunteers enter the stage while the martial arts supervisors drag crashmats onto it.

"Before you start, remember - no elemental powers! We don't want to cause any accidents. Begin!"

Your opponent is about a foot shorter than you, with a small build, but confident eyes. She throws a punch, which you block easily. She then spins and does a flying tornado kick to your side, but you don't even move to avoid or block it. It doesn't do any damage, because of your rock hard abs and strong core strength. You decide to go easy on her, and lightly throw a punch to her side. She dodges and uses a side kick, which you block. She then switches to Judo and tries to grapple you to bring you to the ground, but you don't budge. You look over at Fire, who is winning in his fight to. He dodges and attacks with speed and agility, while his partner is more of strength and power in the fight. You glance at Lightning, who is having a challenge, as he is used to using his power more than physically attacking people. 

"You wanna swap Fire?"

"Yea", he says, taking a punch to the face.

Your partner swaps, and his walks over to you with a smile. You smile back at him, then wish him good luck. He takes a swing at you, to no avail. After a few minutes of fighting, the headteacher blows a whistle, everyone stops, and then you bow at each other. The volunteers return to the crowd, and then the headmaster grabs his microphone.

"Now, we will be doing an autographing session while the staff prepare the tables, for another activity."

Everyone screams and tries to get you and the other's attention. You pick a random girl first, who reaches up and hands you her notebook to sign. You quickly sign it, and hand it back. She goes bright red and screams with her friends then they start posting chirps. After a while, when your hand feels like it going to fall off, the headteacher announces that you guys are going to do a Q & A and the crowd goes wild. You all sit down and then people start asking questions.

"What are your powers? Can you demonstrate them?"

"Yea we can demonstrate them guys."

Energy shoots a ball of, well, energy above the crowd. You all do this in order with your powers, then it was onto the next question.

"What are your pronouns?"

(Energy):"He/Him"

(Water):"She/her"

(Ice):"He/him"

(Lightning):"He/him"

(You):"He/him"

(Fire):"He/him"

(Moss):"He/him and they/them..."

Some of the crowd snickers, but then Fire speaks up:

"HEY! Who-ever was laughing that one of the Ninja uses he/him and they/them pronouns, stop it. We accept people of any gender identity or sexuality, and we do not tolerate homophobes or transphobes in the community. If you laughted, you are not a true fan or ninja."

The headteacher moves on, saying that the ninja meet and greet is beginning. You guys walk down from the stage and into the crowd, then you spot Fire crowd surfing. You giggle, then shout to him to come over to you. However, he ends up landing on you, rather than next to you. You fall onto the floor, with Fire laying on top of you. You guys laugh it off, but the crowd sees your flushed cheeks, as red as Fire's gi. 

~Time skip - the end of the meet and greet, which lasted almost the rest of the day~

"Ladies, Gentlemen, and all others, please listen to this announcement: On Friday, the yearly Ninjago High Prom is going to happen. Please wear your best clothes, and have a good time. That is all, you may go home now."

You grab your stuff from inside and walk home with Kai (after getting changed). You glance at him and see his cheeks go red, then open your mouth to ask him a question.

"Who are you going to the prom with?"

"Well... I was thinking maybe we could go together?"

"Of course! What are we going to wear? I mean we could all go as ninja, to make sure we are ready if the Sons of Garmadon attack the school again."

"Yea but we are going for a good time remember! We should go as ourselves. But I guess we should bring our gi's just in case."

"Should we make official then? That we are together?"

"Yea, but remember that you need to come out then? Are you ready?"

"I guess so. We can announce it at the prom."
