I was running, the open fields surrounded me as I felt terrified yet content at the emptiness surrounding me, the warm and dewy air filling my scent while I whimpered trying to look for a sign of life. "H-hello?" I called out softly as Derrick and Emily appeared in front of me, my eyes lit up as I smiled professedly. "Mommy! Daddy!" I squealed while running towards them, letting the names roll off my tongue for the first time without realizing.

"Hey sweetheart!" Emily says softly planting multiple kisses onto my face, I laughed loudly as Derrick tickled my sides immediately. I squirmed in her arms while gasping for air until they stopped, I noticed their sad expressions making me tilt my head softly. "Mommy, what's wrong?"

I could see tears form in their eyes as I gently brought my hand to their faces, wiping their tears immediately. "We have to go for a little while when you wake up little tiger." Derrick spoke gently making me whimper, "don't want you to." I spoke out firmly making Emily smile tearfully with a nod.

"I know you don't honey, I promise we will meet again someday. We will still be with you, even if you can't see us. If you need us, just speak to the stars okay? We will be one of them glistening." She spoke out gently as I nodded hesitantly, "promise?" I weakly asked, trying to hold in my cries making her hold me tighter in her arms as Derrick ran his hands gently along my back.

"I promise, Look at the stars okay?" Derrick whispered as I nodded silently trying to breath in their comforting scent as much as possible, "I'm not ready for you to go." I whispered as Emily made a breathless sigh, "nobody is ever ready honey." She whispered as they leaned down to kiss my head, I felt them gently rock me as I fight to stay awake. "Go to sleep kid."

That was all I heard as the last thing I felt was the gentle hands of Emily stroking my hair making me sigh softly, letting darkness surround me.

I heard the loud noises of what sounded like a monitor, the constant beeping making me groan in frustration at the sound. "Blue?" I heard the familiar voice of Meredith making me open my eyes, I looked around the hospital room in confusion.

"W-where is Derrick and Emily?" I asked in fear and dread, hoping for reassurance but all I had found was a saddened look. "I'm so sorry kid." She says softly as tears welled up uncontrollably, Looking down silently I still remembered what had happened before I had even woke up.

I had to leave, I couldn't be here anymore it hurt. Why didn't anyone stay? Why did they leave when I loved them, did I hurt someone's feelings?

Does someone hate me?

I bit my lip watching as Dr.Grey gave me a moment before I carefully took off medical equipment, I quietly opened my door and once I saw the coast was clear I boosted off into a run. Tears clouded my vision as I was hyperventilating but tried to remain calm, I ran down the stairs hearing shouting from behind me, I ran towards the exit before sprinting even faster, the night rain hitting me like a brick, my legs wanted desperately to collapse but I only pushed harder off the pounding adrenaline.

"Why, what did I do wrong?" I screamed towards the sky as i felt the rain on my bare face, I cried softly as I knew I could have to go back to mother and my father whom caused so much pain.

I didn't want to.

I kept running and running until I felt my legs give out, I leaned against a tree looking into the woods through the consistent downpour, the white noise surrounding me while calming me effectively.

I remembered my friends in that moment, where were they? I needed my friends, I needed them!

I screamed in frustration through my sobs, kicking the dirt softly as I involuntary regressed from the severe overload. "Mommy!" I cried out desperately trying to look for her, I searched everywhere for mommy and daddy but they were nowhere.

I watched a figure creep towards me making me turn in fear, I backed up slowly trying not to make my vulnerability known but in the blink of an eye they were there. " 'oey?" I asked whimpering from the cold, not realizing the nickname I had said.

"Oh god..." she whispered softly before she was right in front of me in the blink of an eye, I wanted to comment on it but I was shivering so bad that I couldn't even focus on it. " 'elp no wan' go." I cried loudly while grasping onto her shirt.

I watched as she quickly picked me up and Isabella was there in an instant while my body was quickly loosing temperature, "em' an' wicky gone." I cried as I felt Isabella bring her hands onto my face, heat was quickly entering my body before I could realize.

"What do you mean Sunshine?" Isabella whispered softly as I shook my head through tears, they were gone. Why couldn't they stay?

"Say dat love dem an' go 'way." I sobbed as they held concerned looks, "alright it's gonna be okay alright, I'm gonna take you to my house and I will try to get this solved honey, it's not your fault." She reassured me but I shook my head through tears, it was my fault!

If I didn't tell them, they would still be alive that's
Why they died. I just knew, I was the mean one.

"No wan' hurt." I whispered as Joanna shook her head, "you won't, I promise." She stated softly as she rubbed my now warm body, what did I do?
