3 am

Dianne Rosetta is in full gear. She stealthily leaves the lair in the dead of night and makes her way to the living room. The hair on the back of her neck pricks as she feels someone watching her from the shadows. She'd damned herself if it was Donnie.

Dianne scans the room and to her heart's content, she senses no one. Maybe it's just her imagination. Yeah, that's it. Wearily smiling, she turns the palms of her hands in the dimly lit room. "You've been practicing for a few days now. You'll be fine."

Motivating herself, she pressed her hands together and summoned her mystic energy. Silently she asks Draxum and Donnie to forgive her should they ever find out. A spike of adrenaline runs up her bones and her eyes briefly glow silver. Between her palms, her silver portal appears. The light cuts through the darkness, making the girl smirk. 'Still got it', she thinks.

Dianne jumps through the portal and lands on a rooftop. Classic vigilante move. The portal behind her fizzles out, leaving the city lights of New York to keep her company. They almost looked like stars. She grumbled to herself not a moment after, remembering the exact reason why she came out.

The spies.

During the last week, Dianne's daily evening stroll was cut short when three humans bumped into her. She apologized for being clumsy but the humans said nothing and just stared at her menacingly. She found it odd yet decided not to do anything about it. The next day, the same happened as she managed to run into the same humans. That happened the day before as well. One day, she deliberately knocked them a little harder than expected. One of the humans fell so she gripped their wrists to yank them up.

There it was. A cloaking broach fashioned as a bracelet. The other two 'humans' had them on as well. She muttered a sweet apology, pretending not to notice the three disguised yokai. When night fell, Dianne snuck out of the lair to hunt the yokai down. She found them just moments before they could escape back to the Hidden City. The rest we know as history.

Now, Dianne had a meeting with three turncoats. The spies are skilled, but not loyal.

---

After an hour of skillfully tracking the spies, she found them in an alley once again trying to make their way to the Hidden City. Dianne rolled her eyes frustratedly. She slapped her hands together and manifested a portal. Three seconds and frantic shouts later, the Silver Knight appeared right before the spies.

"AH, A GHOST!" they screamed making Dianne's poor ears hurt.

"Calm yourself, fools. It's just me."

The three spies, an owl yokai, a fox yokai, and a seal yokai scrambled off the ground to compose themselves to appear more 'professional'. "Yes, Yes, ma'am. Sorry, we didn't mean to get scared," Fox's face reddened in shame. Seal and Owl bowed in shame as well. Dianne chuckled and waved them off, "Either way, I do hope you were not about to abandon our weekly meeting. Very ungentlemanly to leave a poor lady all on her own."

The yokai gulped, Owl being pushed in front to save the skins of the other two. "N-no, ma'am. We were just coming to the surface!"

Dianne knew otherwise. Still, she pretended to believe them much to Seal, Owl, and Fox's relief. "Cutting to the chase, do you have the information I want?"
