She collapsed onto the cold floor, it's rough rocks scratching across her soft skin. Her face jerked up and looked into the eyes of her enemy. Their cain keeping her face in place. Their eyes were locked, not a single sound from the both of them. The villain's mouth twisted into a wicked smile and his face rolled back in laughter. The room was dark with no light. The only hope of seeing was from letting your eyes adjust which was hard to give time for in the current setting. The walls were made a bare concrete somehow piled up and curving around to make a flat roof. The ground was littered with rocks, almost like a road but more rocks that were sharper, larger, and scarier. Annika's nose was as immediately filled with the smell of fresh blood and looked with a combination of awe, worry and relief as a dark figure pulled their sharp sword of the villain's stomach.
