Alexander sat impatiently. He hated every second when he had no knowledge of what was happening with his team, a whole country away. He hated how anxious he was and that only made his anger rise further
"Where the fuck are they!?" He shouted towards Elias, the only person brave enough to be in the same room as him after they all witnessed the two men they had sent with the Joker be locked out and beaten by the Yakuza men before all reception was lost.
The anger in Alexander was distracted though for a moment when he felt a snake-like presence behind him, causing every nerve in his body to instinctively tell him to fight which he would have if he hadn't felt like the snake was wrapped around his throat.
"Miss me already, Alexander?" The familiar teasing voice broke the illusion Alexander was in as he quickly turned to see Joker sitting on his desk with a smug look on her face.
Before Alexander could question how she got up without alerting one of the guards or the security system for that matter, she jumped off the table and walked towards the men, nodding at Elias who nodded back hesitantly, not knowing how else to respond, swearing to himself that there was no one there only a second ago.
"Where are my men?" Alexander asked, not allowing himself to be pleased that she was alive despite a part of him feeling so. He had craved the feeling of her body within his arms ever since she left and despite knowing how dangerous it was to feel that way, he was glad she was back.
Before Joker could answer him the door to the office slammed open with a hurried guard coming in, "Sir an intruder was noticed by the alarm system! Also, the two men on the trip are back but we can't find the Joker-" The guard abruptly paused his report when he noticed Joker behind Alexander who waved towards him innocently.
Alexander sighed in frustration, ordering the guard to leave.
"You know if you need help with your security system, I have a few people who could do the trick," Joker says, amusement clear in her voice, knowing exactly what would piss Alexander off to hear and he wasn't controlled enough not to show it.
So, Alexander turned and grabbed at Joker's arm, pulling her in towards him until their chests were touching.
"I think we both know why I can't accept that offer," He responds in a low voice.
It was because they both knew that once she had that control over his mansion, she had control over everything, and he wasn't going to let her take that from him.
It did spark something else in Alexander though, a curiosity to find wherever her hiding post was. She had an army working under her, there had to be somewhere in the world she was keeping them and he was going to find out one way or another. He had plans for it forming in his mind already as she stood by him, nerves of excitement going off between them.
After asking Elias to give them some space, Alexander waited until the door was closed and locked before he made his move on the unpredictable figure he had in front of him.
Picking Joker up from her waist, he sat her back down on top of his desk, liking the look of it before. Happy with the action, Joker put her arms around Alexander's neck, playing with his hair so gently, wanting to please him.
"What did Shinoda want?" Alexander asked, his voice sounding as if he wasn't playing around. He wasn't going to let Shinoda get away with insulting him, even if the team he sent came back alive. Alive wasn't enough.
He knew though that Joker wasn't just going to tell him everything he wanted to know. Luckily though, he knew how to force himself in.
He didn't hesitate to put his head in between her neck, kissing at her throat, starting to bite enough to hurt when she took a little too long to answer.
