Backstory

My names grace and I'm gonna tell you a little bit about my life...

I was born 14 years ago to Damon and Selene Kingston, my full name is Grace Athena Kingston, and to be honest I hate my life, well most of it. My dream is to be a professional soccer player, i have the most amazing friends who support me in everything and the most amazing older sister I share all my secrets with, however my life is far from perfect, my mom left when I was 3 I hardly remember her after that my dad slipped into a depressive state and tried to do anything possible to make me more like my mother he forced me into ballet saying I should be talented as my mother was a professional dancer and my sister was ridiculously good at it.

I hated it, it's not that i wasn't good at it I just really didn't enjoy it so Elle, my older sister helped me get into soccer which was on at the same time as dance and behind the studio was the Astro so we directed the money into me doing soccer while she danced and then she got me before we left, Elle took me to all my soccer games the rest of my family didn't really pay attention to me but Elle did she looked after me.

During the short period I did dance I met one of my best friends Ruby Anderson I'll never forget how when we first met she tripped and face planted while walking through the ballet door and we shared a Hershey bar whilst waiting for her nose bleed to stop, we used to hang out after she had finished dance and i had finished soccer with ruby's older sister Esme and my older sister Elle they became friends shortly after.

I remember how I met Leia at soccer a few weeks after I had joined, she was off with an injury so she hadn't been here for the past few weeks but she was back, she taught me a few tricks to trick the goal keeper when you strike and we became fast friends. She too also started hanging out with us after soccer and dance.

And finally for my last best friend, our parents were friends so we grew up together her brothers are friends with mine her name is Jessica, me and Jessica were mischievous to say the least we were always getting into trouble, it's not like we cared either, i remember when I introduced Leia and Ruby to her she loved them at first glance we were all the best of friends we had sleep overs pulled pranks until we did something that went too far, Jessica was already on her last warning they were threatening to send her away and after that prank they did just that, they sent her away to a boarding school I haven't seen her in 4 years but I still have contact with her, i hope she comes back soon.

I refused to speak to anyone after Jessica was sent away, my family saw less of me and in the end I think they even thought I was mute so then again nothings really changed, the truth is my parents didn't want another kid after my brother Tommy but when my mum fell pregnant she was happy at first and then she found out I'd be a girl and they didn't want another girl, they already had Elle, they didn't need me, and eventually she ran off with another man leaving me dad with an absolute hatred for me and a family that mostly likes to pretend I don't exist.
