I put back my cellphone in my pocket before heading to Aera's house.
When I arrive, I walk and bring the gift with me as I knock on the door. "Aera~ I'm here."
She answers, her hair up in a messy bun as she wears short workout shorts, a baggy NASA hoodie, fuzzy socks, dinosaur slippers, and her thickly framed glasses. Aera smiles tiredly at me and her scent sweetens.
"Hey, Tae. It's really nice to see you."
I smile. "You're so cute."
They giggle. "Am I?" They play with their sweater paws.
I pat her head. "Yes. Can I come in?"
"Please." She moves out of the way.
I remove my shoes first before entering their house. "Your house is so cozy. I like it."
"Thank you. Min and I work hard on keeping it nice." Aera hums.
I hold her hand and say, "Let's sit on the couch. I have something for you."
She squeezes and leads me to the couch and sits close to me. "What is it?"
I blush and look at her. "I hope you will like it. I bought you a necklace and flowers..."
