Next day

I woke up with felix's arm still wrapped around me tight. I shook him awake after realizing that we'll be 30 minutes too late for school. At this point, it wasn't like I really cared tho. We both got ready for school, listening to our favorite artists on full blast.
"Do you think this is okay for school or too much" since I practically lived at felix's, I had tons of clothes to pick from.
"This'll do. You look pretty" he smiled at me warmly, before he continued dancing to his favorite twice song.
We managed to get to school after the fourth period was over, which was in my opinion pretty useless since we only had two lessons left but Felix insisted on going for some reason.
"Come onnnn, you're usually always down for skipping, why do we have to go" "stop complaing already, I gotta talk to jeongin"
"Thanks for bringing him up again. I just hope he'll leave me alone"
My orange-brownish coat worked like a shield against the cool breeze, hugging my body perfectly. When we saw jeongin standing by his locker, we parted ways, so that Felix could talk to jeongin. I was cluelesly walking around the school corridors, searching for nari, without success. "Is she really starting her skipping phase again now. Where the hell is she " my mind was full with questions I had yet to ask her, but no matter where I looked, I couldn't find her. "What happened to you, nari... "
Small timeskip

I sat down at my desk in chemistry class, waiting for Felix to sit next to me. However, when I saw him entering the classroom together with jeongin, I quickly placed my bag onto my chair and switched my focus to the window next to me. "Y/n. Can we please talk? "
"What's there to talk about? If you want to apologize, go to my mum instead. Don't waste my time"
"Just- just come to the school gates after school" he said and quietly left. To my relief, Felix didn't leave me and sat down next to me.
"So, what did you talk to him about. "
"Oh you know, just if he finished the project we had to do till today"
"Wha- why didn't you ask me, yk I could've help-"
"Alright class settle down, please. Today we'll be making another experiment. For that I would like you to take this flame heater and a pair of safety glasses" ms. Gwan interrupted me, giving me a slight heart attack.

Jeongins pov

I was sitting a few rows next to her, occasionally glancing over at her. A friend of mine must've cought onto it and asked what was wrong with me. "How could she have misunderstand me so much and why is she so mad, even if it hadn't anything to do with saving her moms life. I did apologize and it was only her leg. Why is she so angry..."
"Dude, I fr have no idea what's going on between you two, but if she really just misunderstood you, then you have to talk to her about it. Don't let it ruin your friendship, or whatever you guys have going on" he answered simply, handing me a safety glasses.
"Im planning on it,duh.When Felix came to me not long ago,he asked me to explain my side of the story and told me that she really thinks a whole different one. " " That's messed up. Anyways sucks to suck ig, now focus here man" he said, snipping his fingers in my face.
"I'm just glad Felix isn't telling her anything yet and let's me handle this on my own" "Mhm"
I tried my best focusing on the project in front of me, but y/n and Felix just had a little too much fun working on it for my liking. I kept glaring at them, not quite sure what made this jealous. I've never been the jealous type, but seeing her having so much joy with one of my friends, while she's insanely pissed at me, just made me boil inside. My partner eventually gave up drawing my attention towards the project, as I was still focusing on only them.

Y/n's pov

Chemistry was over and I was now supposed to meet jeongin at the school gate. "Wait y/n where are you going, the exit is over there. Also weren't u supposed to meet jeongin at the gates"
Felix yelled out, trying to meet my pace.
"Yea, as if I'm gonna let him ruin my mood now. Let's go through this exit and have some fun" I smiled at him, before pulling him with me through the back entrance. All I could see on his face, was a worried expression. Why was it so important for him, that I talked with jeongin...
We made our way to our favorite arcade and as Felix ordered some drinks for us, I bought the game chips.
"Ready to go? "
"If 279 chips are enough, then yes! I really hope we can get that cow plushi over there. Isnt it adorable! "
We played over 27 different games (in which he lost 19 times) and got around 3.889 coins.
We were at our last game. The one where you had to dance in rythm.
Dancing has always been my talent and I wasn't gonna loose this one. I was so gonna get this cow.
"Idk y/n...im not really good at this."
"Just leave it to me. I know you have two left feet, but this is the only game left in here and I'm not gonna leave without this cow" I stated, already getting ready to destroy the top high score on the display. I scrolled through the list of dances, until i found my favorite dance.
The music started playing and it was as if my body moved on its own.
I completely focused on the game and heard only muffled the cheering and clapping from Felix behind me. (Imagine your favorite dance in here, didn't wana pick)
I felt the adrenaline kick in completely as my body got more hyped and moved more swiftly.
"3, 2, 1 congratulations!! You hit a new high score! Enter your name below.

" WOOOO LET'S GOOOO" I screamed, taking out the coins I had earned.
"Woah it was like your body suddenly got possesed and started doing its own thing! You got a whole thousand coins too! You're awesome"
"I know, I know, you can praise me later. For now just get me this plushi" I said, trying to catch my breath while reaching out to my soda bottle.
I waited for a bit more than 5 minutes, only to see him returning without the plushi.
"Felix, where's the cow. "
I asked him dead serious.
"I'm so sorry y/n, it costed 6.000 coins and we only have 4.889..."
"NAURRRR" I dramatically whined out, hitting my head against his shoulder.
"All this hard work, all the victims we had to sacrifice. For nothing. Nothing at all" I suddenly turned into a dark poet, trying to let him know that I wasn't actually sad.
"I promise, we'll get it next time... Cmon I'll treat you to a chicken menu at hfc" he promised, dragging me with him by my wrist.
At hfc, I sat down at an empty table, waiting for Felix to return with our order.
"He's the man, he orders. Periodt. " I said to myself, trying to not feel guilty about it anymore. After boredly scrolling through my insta feed, only to place my phone back down due to the bad Wi-Fi network, I saw jisung, chan and changbin sitting just one table away from me.
I grabbed a napkin, rolled it into a ball and threw it at jisung, too lazy to get up to get his attention. When they all recognized me and waved at me, I signaled for them to come over.
It was a five seat table after all.
"What bring you here all alone? "
Changbin asked, putting his jacket over the chair he sat on.
"Oh I'm not alone, I brought Felix here, or more like he brought me. He practically pulled me here" I said, pointing to the small dark haired figure standing at the cashier counter.
"Ahh I see, are y'all like on a date or some? " chan asked
"Wha- no! He's just trying his best to get my mind out of some stressful things rn"
I denied his accusation, lowkey embarrassed.
"Ah, something with jeongin? "
"Wh- how did you know? "
"Why else would you be here without him" chan chuckled lightly.
"Ohh, anyways why are you guys here" I tried changing the topic as fast as possible.
"Oh, we were just working on a new song in the studio but we got hungry so we decided to continue here" jisung answered me, sipping on his coke.
"You were hungry for cheesecake? "
"Ay- don't start judging someones appetite unless you're begging for backfire" he warned me, making me chuckle and pull up my arms in defeat.
"Aight aight you won. Enjoy it, ji"
Not long after, Felix returned, clearly surprised by the sudden people sitting next to me.
"From what corner did y'all crawl out now" he joked, placing the food on the table and sitting next to me.
"But yongbok, we missed your presence so much, we just had to visit you" changbin fake grinned at him gaining a glare back.
"If that was the case, you would've come to my party last week."
