Y/n was watching Matthew with gabby at the firehouse, tho she wasn't a firefighter she was a medic, and she was around a lot. He always smiled around her and laughed at her jokes, and the way he let her touch him made her jealous. She sighed to herself.
She got up and went to refill the truck, y/n won't tell him, she lonely. 'Cause she thought it may be selfish. She won't ask Matthew to hold her. 'Cause that won't mend what's helpless. Matthew looked over seeing her leave. Matthew, when after her. "Y/n whats....." He asked but stopped at the doorway when he heard her singing for the first time.
"There's not a thing I could say. Not a song I could sing. For your mind to change. Nothing can fill up the space. Won't ask you to stay. But let me ask you one thing." She sang to herself softly, Joe and Sylvia rushed over hearing Y/n sing, then glanced at Matthew, knowing he did something.
"Oh, when did you fall out of love, out of love? Oh, when did you fall out of love with me?" She sang softly, y/n was out of sight in the truck.
"What did you do?!?!" Sylvia whisper yelled at Matthew. "I don't know." He muttered to her.
"I can't float in an ocean. That's already been drained. I won't cry at your feet now. I know my tears will fall in vain." She sang softly.
"Well you did something!?!?" Sylvia said quietly. Y/n was like Sylvia's little sister. She didnt like it when she was hurting.
"There's not a thing I could say. Not a song I could sing. For your mind to change. Nothing can fill up the space. Won't ask you to stay. But let me ask you one thing." Y/n sang softly as she closed the cabinet. Joe looked at Matthew.
