The team had noticed that Y/n didn't show up to work like she normally did. Monch noticed her didn't hear the medic's bubblie giggling and noticed that where she normally sat was empty. "Hey has anyone seen n/n (nickname)?" He asked as he got up from where he was.
"No we haven't." Matthew said as the coms came on and called them to the street Y/n normally took to get back and forth to work. Everyone looked at each other before running to get ready. Matthew was hoping this wasn't his girlfriend Y/n.
Soon when they got there they seem a 5 car pile up and one was Y/n's friend's care in the direcly in the middle of it. "Shit." Joe muttered as they all when to put out the fire on one side and get people out on the other side.
Matthew told everyone what to do and when to help get everyone out the cars. After a while they got to y/n's friend's car. "Where's n/n?" Her friend kept asking since she wasn't in the car. Matthew looked around to see if he could find her. "I'll be with you dusk till dawn!" He called out hoping Y/n would reply like she always did.
"Baby I'm... Right here." Y/n's voice broke as she replied, she was trapped under one of the cars. She was crossing the road to get to the meet up spot when she was hit by one of the cars in the pile up.
Matthew ran to find her. "I'll hold you when things go wrong!" He sang out loud got closed. "Baby I'm right here." She sang. Matthew got to her and held her hand. Y/n looked him and smiled at him.
~a few hours later~
Y/n woke up in the hospital with a broken leg and a few fractured ribs. She looked around and saw Matthew asleep next to her. "I will be here with you from dusk till dawn my love." She whispered softly. She held his hand waiting for him.
Soon enough he started to wake up and sat up. "Y/n. Your awake." He said with a smile on his face. "Yes I am my love." She said and kissed him. "You had me worried for a moment." He said as he kissed back. "I'm sorry love."
