Once she put on her mask, she felt a huge rush of energy as she swung out of the bathroom, soaring through the windy breeze as her backpack continuedly swung left and right on her back. She swooped down low, and shot a web onto an upcoming building, yanking herself upwards before smashing herself onto the slate road. She shot a web on top of the nearest building and flipped herself onto the building window. She ran upwards, using her powers so she doesn't fall to her death at a very alarming rate from a high distance. Only after backflipping off the building did she then notice something was wrong. Her spider-senses were going haywire, screaming at her to move left. And so, she complied, just before a splat of acid was thrown at her.

"That was a close call-" she said to herself, trying to find where the blob of acid came from.

Suddenly, the sky turned dark. Black and gloomy as people would've called it, even though the time wasn't even close to night yet. Eyes sprouted around her, staring at the hero hideously with luminous red eyes. Petra was internally freaking out, what was going on? Who do these eyes belong too? As the shadows cleared, out came the spiders who held the fiery eyes of neon red. She knew that she was outnumbered, she knew that it was impossible to take out these many spiders on her own, technically because she doesn't know what their powers are yet. And so, she tried to escape the grasps of these arachnids, swinging quickly towards a building she knows of, a building owned by a person that she trusts.

*Ring Ring Ring* The doorbell rang. Petra waited patiently outside, waiting for the trusted person to answer.

"Who is it?" A gruffy female voice said, clearly unhappy for the disturbance.

"It's Petra," as the silence echoed.

"Y-You know, uh... Spider-girl?"

"I know, I know, just come in and tell me what you want," The woman said as she opened her door for the brunette superhero.

"Thank you so much for letting me in Mrs. Stark," Petra thanked politely as she stepped inside the billionaire's house.

"Now what do you want kid?" Morgan asked, a little confused on why her mentee was infront of her.

"Well Mrs. Stark, I need your help. There's a bunch of giant spiders and it's too much for me to take! I also have absolutely no idea about these creatures. I need your help to research these things Mrs. Stark," Petra begged, having her heart filled with hope.

"Look kid, I really don't trust you right now. Just because I know you're spiderman, and I'm your mentor, doesn't mean that it involves trust that much. The answer is no, sorry," Morgan sternly said.

Petra was surprised, as her feeling slowly turned into sadness. The hope in her heart, slowly wore off. Who knew that her mentor didn't even trust her.

"O-Okay Mrs. Stark," Petra stuttered, slowly getting to her feet as she walks towards the exit door.

"I'll wish you luck I guess," Morgan said as she casually hops back onto what she was doing before she got interrupted.
