SPECIAL CHAPTER: Forever Canada
LEAVING PHILIPPINES for good wasn't the thing that crossed Roscoe's mind, at least for him. The reason why they're migrating to Canada because Yrozze's parents were already living there for good. It had been 5 years since Yrozze's parents moved from Philippines to Canada. And now, they're the next. That means their children's education here in the Philippines would commence. They will resume their education when they reached Canada.
"Hindi ba makakapag-intay ang mga magulang mo? Reign's only in 10th grade and he'll be graduating 3 months from now, hindi na talaga siya pwedeng patapusin ng Junior High?"
"How much I want to argue back, they won't listen to me. If you want, we can face-time mom and dad today and let them reconsider their thoughts and offers regarding about our children?" He asked.
Children. What a beautiful word to hear.
"Yeah, we can."
"Hello anak!" Maligayang bati niya. Bumati naman silang dalawa sa kanya. "How're you there, Mom?" Tanong niya sa ina. "I'm okay here! Its quite cold though. Winter season na kasi dito sa Canada. How 'bout you? Kamusta kayo diyan?"
Yrozze and Roscoe looked at each other.
It was Roscoe who sighed at the other line.
Marquessa was not a dense person so she immediately noticed this. "Son, are you okay?" She asked. Humugot ng hininga si Roscoe bago nagsalita. "I know its inappropriate for us to call without even answering your previous question, but I want you to know that I want my children, especially Reign to finish their education.
I already contacted the principal of the University of Calgary and they have agreed to arrange their arrival, as well as letting them resume their education. Magsisimula ang school year within a few months. They will try their best to cater all that they need in no time."
Walang nagawa si Roscoe kundi bumuntong-hininga.
He couldn't stop the time because he's no god. The only thing that he would like to adhere now is the essence of acceptance that they should be going to Canada in less than 2 months.
Yrozze sighed at that.
When Yrozze was about to interject, Marquessa added more information.
"I started that one just a few weeks ago. There was this sheriff who visited our home prior to our permanent residential stay, here in Calgary. He was with other officers and they want a proof of our documents regarding our motive."
