Kirstie POV

"Young man, would you care to explain to me why I just got a phone call from your principle?" Her voice got angrier and louder as she stormed into the room.

It was my cue to leave.

"Kirst, you don't have to go." Scott sighed, pulling me back down onto the sofa.

"Oh yes she does, you're grounded!" I stood up and collected my bag whilst Scott groaned. He attempted to argue back but was quickly silenced. "One more word out of you and I'm turning off the WiFi!"

And I was gone.

When I finally arrived at my own house my parents were waiting at the dinner table. I apologized and made up some excuse about needing to talk with Mrs Curvelle about my costume. We ate our food in a comfortable silence until it was broken by my father's nosiness.

"So, darling, how's Mitch? You haven't been talking about him much lately." I choked on a mouthful of food. Oops. I might have forgotten to tell them. After drinking some water to stop myself from coughing anymore, I replied. "Oh, yeah, we broke up a few days ago. Sorry I forgot to tell you." I continued eating watching my parents eyes widen. "Oh, honey. What happened?" My mom had put down her knife and fork and sat waiting for an explanation.

I really didn't want my parents to hate Mitch and telling them he cheated on me would definitely cause that. I mumbled some stuff about how it wasn't really working and we were both still friends. They looked at my sympathetically even though I was completely fine.

"Are you sure your OK? You must be upset." We had finished our food and I was helping put the washed dishes away. My father was passing me some plates after drying them.

"I'm fine. I told you, we're still best friends." I sat on the counter so I could reach the cupboards.

"That's good but there's always ice-cream if you——"

"Well I am feeling a little down. He meant so much, you know?"

I put on my best 'break-up face' and kissed my parents. I ran up the stairs, spoon in hand, as I hid my laughter with my hand.

Mitch POV

Mxtchie: I'm boreeeeeeeeed :( xoxo

I had a million and one things I needed to do but I was still bored. Laying down doing nothing was a lot easier than actually having to move. My homework was in my bag on the other side of the room. My moisturizer was all the way in the bathroom along with the shower. My script for drama was down stairs on the table. And my bed was so comfy.

Kirstie<3: then do ur homework :P x

Scottland: or learn your lines xx

I yawned and got up. It wasn't even late but my sleeping pattern was destroyed a few nights ago by the internet.

Mxtchie: ur not my real moms lol xoxo

Scottland: no but I am ur daddy ;)

Now I was awake. My cheeks burned from his flirting.

Kirstie<3: Literally ew.

Scottland: sorry I couldn't resist :'D xx

Kirstie<3:  how's ur mom??????? x

Scottland: a little pissed but I still have my wifi :) xx

I finished washing my face in the bathroom and was getting changed watching Scott and Kirstie's conversation.
