"Oh what a time for the tank to have to find out its strength before we're crushed." Alexis says worriedly.

"Don't worry. I'll save us with my mystic hands." Michelangelo says as he extends his hands before he freezes up and puts his hands down.

"Mikey?" Alexis asks as alexis looks at him.

"Casey must have been wrong about me." Michelangelo says.

"No. We're just not our future selves that he knew. He wasn't wrong about us." Alexis says as the roof begins to break.

"This is it. We're gonna get crushed!" Michelangelo says fearfully.

"If anybody has anything to say now is a good time!" Donatello shouts.

"Uh Alexis I know this isn't the best time but I got something I really wanna tell you." Michelangelo says.

"Yes Michelangelo?" Alexis asks as she looks at Michelangelo.

"I-" Michelangelo then gets cut off by a knocking sound.

"Knock, knock!" A voice shouts from outside.

"April?" Alexis asks.

"Anyone order a rescue?" April asks before the group feels the vines release the tank as it bursts open.

"April! You saved us!" Michelangelo shouts happily as he hugs April and Splinter before Splinter pulls Alexis and Donatello into the hug.

"Uncomfortable with emotion." Donatello says.

"Where is Leo and future boy?" Splinter asks.

"Somewhere in there." Michelangelo says as he gestures to a hole

"Faster! They're this way. I can smell them." A voice in the tunnels says revealing to be the Sister Krang.

"She found us. We gotta move!" April says as the group gets moving.

*Timeskip*

"Donnie, Mikey, Alexis do you read me?" Leonardo asks as he comes in on the communicator.

"Come in Leo. Come in Leo." Donatello says.

"Donnie, Donnie? Where are you?" Leonardo asks.

"We've extracted ourselves from the subway and are currently ascending a staircase. I'm getting a lot of interference but if you hold still I can triangulate your position using a complex geolocation algorithm." Donatello says as the group is climbing a stairwell as the group then sees Casey and Leonardo as Donatello doesn't see them.

"Donnie?" Casey asks.

"Odd numbers.. primes.. no almost... Almost! Ugh I never get to use my algorithm." Donatello says as he then sees Leonardo and Casey.

"Man I am so glad you guys aren't dead." Leonardo says in relief.

"Ditto." Michelangelo says as Alexis nods before Leonardo hugs him and Donatello.

"Okay before this gets too mushy we need to locate Raph. Donnie can you tell me if he's still in the building." Leonardo says.

"Bet your momma's subatomic particles I am. Got him! He's close. He's almost on top of us. Wait... He is on top of us." Donatello says before the group looks up and sees Raphael inside a pink cocoon.

"Raph!" The group shouts.

"Raphael!" Splinter shouts.

"Quick! Get him down. Get him out of here." Leonardo says as he frees Raphael and lands on the ground.

"Hang on big brother. We got you. Almost there. Raph?" Leonardo asks before Raphael wakes up and begins attacking the group as tentacles and eyes burst out on his body before Raphael knocks April to the ground and takes the key from her.

"Surprise." The Krang Leader says as he comes through the door.

"What did you do to my brother?" Michelangelo asks tearfully as Alexis shifts to wolf form growling at the Krang Leader.

"Improved him. Thank you for this. We will be putting it to good use. Come the world awaits destruction." The Krang Leader says before Leonardo glares at him as the Sister Krang bursts into the room as infected Krang follow as Raphael then gives the key to the Krang leader.

"Tear them apart!" The Sister Krang shouts as the subway monster heads toward the group before April throws the blue vials at the monster causing it to fall back.

"We gotta move." April says as the group runs leaving Raphael reluctantly.

"Leo move!" Casey shouts as he makes Leonardo follow him.

"No!" Leonardo shouts as the group leaves.

"What do we do now?" Michelangelo asks as the group watches chaos unfold from the rooftop.

"I fear we are lost. The Krang are too powerful." Splinter says as Leonardo slumps down.

"Maybe we could change the future some other way." Michelangelo says.

"Guys it's time to face facts. We can't change the future." Casey says.

"Says who?" Michelangelo asks.

"Yeah. Mikey is right. Why can't we keep fighting?" Alexis asks as Michelangelo smiles at her.

"Says the grandfather paradox. Says physical determinism. Says the space time continuum. Look I didn't want it to be true but... science." Donatello says.

"That's it! Donnie's wrong." Leonardo says as everyone looks at him.

"The world is ending yet the barbs continue." Donatello says.

"Don't you remember? We already did change the future. Raph never got kidnapped and turned into a Krang zombie in your time. Right Casey?" Leonardo asks.

"No he didn't." Casey says.

"That means we did change the future! We're just in a different..." Leonardo says.

"Bifurcated time branch?" Donatello asks.

"Yes, yes, yes. That nerd thing. You know what that means right? We still have hope!" Leonardo says as he smiles with hope.

"A ninja's greatest weapon." Casey says.

"Hey I like that! Look I'm done thinking I have all the answers. I don't know how to beat the Krang but I do know our future isn't written until we write it as a team. So what do we got?" Leonardo asks.

"Maybe... Maybe we don't have to beat them. Can't we just send them back to the prison dimension?" April asks.

"That's an idea! Donnie what do those big beautiful eyebrows have to say?" Leonardo asks as he looks at Donatello.

"If we got control of their ship we could send it back to the portal." Donatello says.

"Yes! Yes! Now we're cooking. Who else?" Leonardo asks.

"If someone on the ground can get to that key..." Casey says.

"We can close the doorway!" Splinter says.

"And then bye-bye Krang forever baby!" Michelangelo shouts.

"Awesome!" Alexis says happily.

"Exactly. What do you say Donnie? You ready to fly a spaceship?" Leonardo asks as he looks at Donatello.

"Literally the greatest question I have ever been asked." Donatello says.

"Alright team. Looks like we have a plan. Let's go save the world." Leonardo says.

"Wait. But what about Raph?" Michelangelo asks.

"That big jerk may be covered in goo and half alien but he's still our brother. And I'm not giving up on him. I'm not leaving him behind." Leonardo says.
