Chapter 3 No touching!

Angel stayed up the whole car ride mainly because he was full but he was overthinking about Aki calling him "dear" he blushed of the thought of it, I don't like Aki, I hate humans, I hate him. He's rude, demanding, Attractive..Caring..and. what? Angel buried his face in his hands and avoided eye contact with Aki. Once Aki dropped him off home he got out as well " wait.." Aki stopped him. Angel looked behind him " Yeah?" Aki had no objective so he just gave hims a careful hug and got extremely close to his lips. He could feel Angel's breath, " I'll see you tomorrow..." Aki said in a whispering tone and let the hug go. Angel's face was red and he covered his mouth in shock and mumbled " g-goodye Aki.." .

Angel stood there stunned and tried to process the situation as the headlights of the car disappeared as Aki pulled off. Meanwhile Aki was blasting loud music to distract him from his loud embarrassing thoughts, even the music at full volume wasn't loud enough to block off his thoughts. When he pulled up to his house and unlocked his front door, he took a deep breath and swung open the door to his surprise it wasn't messy. Aki walked in putting his bags down, he checked his phone and sent Angel a goodnight next debating if he should call him a pet name.Aki sent him " Goodnight my Angel."  He always knew that Angel wasn't very confident in being an Angel, so why not a friendly reminder? Aki sighed to see Beam laying on his kitchen floor, sleep. He heard Power and Denji giggling extremely loud. Aki banged on the door and scowled " Go to bed!" it went quiet after that. After a while he made some tea and started to read a book and drift off to sleep.

It was early in the morning when Angel heard sirens and screaming people, why me? another devil?it's only 8 in the morning. Angel got up wrapping his blanket around him. Was he finally going to start his day productive!? No, he closed the window to cut off the cold breeze and the loud sirens and laid right back in bed. He cut on his Tv to listen to news and broadcast as he dozes off. About 30 minutes later he heard banging on the door, he sighed as he was familiar with the knock and got up. Dragging his blanket across his house to open the door to Aki " Morning partner." Aki stated as he looked him up and down "Angel..this is the 5th time this week, get into uniform. now." Angel scowled at him, but he couldn't refuse he had to anyway. Angel closed his front door to go get ready and came back out with his uniform on and his office keys.  " I want to go to a cafe. im hungry.." Angel looked at him with tired eyes, but he was trembling. Aki took his thick coat off " You're also cold. here-" Angel stopped him " Devils don't g-get cold" his jaws were trembling. Aki forced the coat on his shoulders. " Yeah right, take this" Angel looked at him with an angered look " You humans are sensitive, we are basically immortal. but I'll take it because I am cold." Angel slipped his arms through the sleeves and they continued walking with him.

" Oh, and try not to touch me as much as you do. You know what will happen if you do Aki?' Angel said troubled. Aki looked at him with a nonchalant face  " I know, you just deserve affection. there's no reason you have to go through not having affection. Yes I know your power is dangerously serious, but as your friend I should have no reason to fear you.". Angel cracked a smile and crossed his arms " heh I never said we were friends". Aki paused and looked at him cocking an eyebrow " Do you consider me your lover?"
