The twins were walking up to the monastery to deliver some mail they got by accident. "Why didn't you brush your teeth at home?" Krux asked. Nix just shrugged as he was done. They got to the door and Wu let them in. Everyone was in the kitchen eating.
"Hi bestest friend." Nix said to Ash. She looked at him and then at the toothbrush in his hand.
"What's with the toothbrush?"
"He brushed his teeth on the way up here." Krux answered.
"Oh cool. I'll give you twenty if you drink this glass of orange juice." Ash said, gesturing to her cup.
"You can't trick me with that." Nix had a smug look on his face.
"How about I double it? Forty bucks." Nix was now contemplating whether or not to do it.
"Nope, not falling for it."
"Alright, triple. Sixty smackeroos."
"Not budging."
"Eighty bucks." Nix was now sweating. "Alright, one hundred dollars." Ash said.
"Give me that orange juice." Nix took the cup and chugged it. He gagged a little, but drank it all. Ash was laughing and gave him the money. "Sweet, free money. Just enough to get my phone fixed."
"You're a goof you know that?" Ash said. Nix blew a raspberry at her.
