Protecting?

Andre's POV

Should I tell him the truth or not?
I don't want to be the first to tell her about it...but I guess she needs to know the truth,  I need to talk to them about this.

"Celestina alam mo naman na ayaw ni daddy diba, he is just protecting us" I said

"From what kuya?... Meron ba kayong hindi sinasabi sakin?or maybe all of you are hiding something from me?" She ask me should I tell her the truth naba?

Before I could even answer her questions the car suddenly stop and we're here already

"We're here na so Tina stop overthinking about those things, let's just enjoy this night first then next time we will discuss it "kuya Paulo said

We get down at the car we saw mom and dad already so we went to there direction. We come together inside the event, the event organizers assist us to our respective seats... We are on the front table on the left side
Meanwhile Celestina went to her friends and there table it's on the right side she having a little chitchat with her amigas... And suddenly Georgina caught my attention, Yes I know she's my sister's friend and it's kinda awkward to tell her what I'm feeling towards her, I love her... She nice, she smart, she good at giving advices and first of all I love her personality.

"Pst.... Andres"mom called me

So I approached her because she signaled to me that she was going to whisper something.

" Yes, mommy what is it?" I ask

"Baka matunaw si Georgina niyan ha "she whispered and chuckle a little

"Mom!"I said with a annoyed voice

"Why, I know you have a crush on her" mom said then smirk, oh no here we go again 🤦

"No.... I didn't like her kaya"I said and I return to my sit now while crossing my arms

Mommy is now looking at me then she get a glass of wine and take a sip after that she said something that I think it made my blush

"Well SHE likes you pa naman" mom replied and that made butterflies inside my stomach

" REALLY? S-she L-likes me ?" I  said 
with an excitement.

" Ah ha gotcha" mom said and laugh

"Wha-what do you mean?" I confusedly asked

"Well I really don't know if she likes you.... I just said that for you to tell me the truth about it  and I was right you really like her, don't you?" mom explained and teased me.

Ahhhh Ano ba... she's so annoying I know that she will tell it to dad then later on she will tell it to Tina ohh NO...no no I have to do something.

" Mommy please don't tell anyone about it" I pleased

" Aminin mo muna that you like her" mom said

"Okay okay I don't like her..... Because I LOVE her" I said and that made mommy smile she also top me on the shoulder

After that little chismisan with mom I glare on Georgina and I caught her staring at me then she look away.

Celestina's POV

Oh no here we go again, I saw my kuya staring at Georgina well I can feel that he likes her and actually Georgina really likes him and now mommy is whispering something to kuya then after that my brother turned and look at georgina I think they both stared at each other because Georgina immediately look a way

" Hey Ginaa~ seems like Andres is staring at you ha" Fiona is teasing Georgina, while Gina is  blushing on the side

" You are right Fiona kuya is looking at Georgina maybe my kuya really likes you too "I teasingly said and push her a little then she just rolled her eyes to us

"you know what girls? stop, the party is about to start so you Celestina Angeline Rivera Go back to your proper seat" Georgina ordered us.

So I sat next to may kuya Andres and in my other side is ate Danica my kuya Paulo's girlfriend and mom is on my front and she's giving me a wide smile, so I smile back.

The event is now starting my dad's close friends are here they're probably supporting him.

"Good evening everyone we are here now celebrating a new achievement of The one and only Philip Antonio Rivera Sr." the host introduce my father.

"Let's all welcome Mr. Philip  Rivera "the host added
So my father stand up and went to the stage the host handed him the  mic, his going to give his speech na.

All of us are clapping our hands I am really proud of my dad his always working hard for us and even tho his stressed and busy he still manage to have a time for us.

"Good evening everyone first of all I really appreciate your presence tonight, I'm thankful for having a opportunity to work with you guys thank you for being here I especially thanking my workers, friends and family... I Mostly thanking my beautiful supportive wife thank you for everything, I am standing here because of you... I'm doing all of this for you and for our childrens I would be nothing in to this world if i don't have a wife like you in my life''my dad share his speech, while my mommy or shall I say the whole crowd is kinikilig already especially me.

"And thank you also to my workers because they've also worked hard for it, so I want to share this new achievement with you guys... this is OUR achievements, let's enjoy this night, congratulations to us let's have a toss... cheers'' daddy ended his speech we are clipping our hands again daddy return to his sit.

And after dad shares his speech, the whole room went dark, there are no lights... so I held ate Danica's hand.

"What's going on?" I ask Because I'm afraid of the dark, so I hug ate Dan's arms.

" I don't know either, pau where are you?"ate said

"Celestina ~ where are you?~" kuya Andres is teasing me and trying to scared me

"Ano ba kuya, stop it di na kakatuwa"I said

Minutes has past and finally the lights are back but somethings wrong kuya Paulo is not beside us na so I went to the door with ate Dan and I was shock when I saw kuya paulo.

"OMG, kuya pau" I said while covering my mouth

I hugged ate Danica, tears started to come out of my eyes and ate Danica was also crying too.
