Cinnamons POV.
May 15th 2022.

My eyes fluttered open to a beautiful garden. Yellow daisies, yellow roses and different flowers danced everywhere. I looked down at my white sundress as my feet enjoyed the dirt beneath them. It was like a beautiful escape.

"Oh you grew up so nicely." The voice automatically made my eyes widen. "...Mama?" I turned around and seen her beautiful face. I hugged her as tight as I could while inhaling her smell that I miss oh so dearly. "My sweet baby." She pulled away and placed her hands on my cheek. "Mama I miss you so much." I began to lowly sob. Seeing her is like a weight being lifted off of my back that I didn't even know I was carrying.

"I miss you too princess. I came to give you a serene message." Her voice had an echo. "Your person...I've been watching her and I am saddened but proud. Saddened at the fact that her eyes have been elsewhere..but proud at where her heart lies. You are going to have bigger troubles in the near future but you guys have to work it out." I looked down as she lifted my head back up. "How am I supposed to do that? Mama tell me what I'm supposed to do?" She smiled then kissed my forehead.

"Mama wait!" My eyes shot open as I gasped for air. Letitia laid next to me sound asleep and I rubbed my head while looking at her face. When I caught my breath I laid back down and just stared at her. I placed my hand on her cheek as her eyes slowly began to open. "What's wrong baby?" She asked in her sleepy voice. It's truly the cutest thing I've ever heard. I shook my head still feeling unable to talk after the dream.

I've never seen my mom in my dreams until now. Maybe that's what really makes me feel...anxious. Seeing her has helped me in more ways than one but why now?

"What's on your mind?" She asked pulling me close to her. She laid her head in the crook of my neck as I couldn't help but tear up. "I seen my mom, Tish." I whispered. "She told me that.." I couldn't hold my tears any longer. I just wanted to do nothing but cry. I don't know if it's a happy cry or a sad cry, I just want to cry.

"Hey,look at me." She sat us up as she put her hand on my cheek. "Whatever she told you, you hold that close to your heart you hear me? She didn't visit you for no reason and whatever the reason was you take it in and process it." I nodded at her soft tender voice while she dried my tears with her thumbs.

"Plus it's your birthday. Mama wouldn't want you crying O?" She smiled which caused me to giggle. It is 3:57 am so it is indeed my 27th birthday. "Now let's go back to sleep." I laid back down as she pulled me on top of her. I stuffed my head in her neck and fell straight back to sleep.

"I remember that! And then you took off your top and swung it around!" Journey recalled an embarrassing story from college as Letitia's eyes widened. "You took off your shirt!?" I nodded and she laughed. We were at my birthday dinner and it was going very well. It was just me,Journey and Letitia at a local Chinese restaurant. Something light and simple which is just enough for me.

I shook my head in embarrassment as I decided to get my lick back. "But let's get on you shall we?!" She widened her eyes as we both laughed. "Cinnamon? Is that you?" I looked to the side of Journey, revealing the girl from the 5th floor. "Oh hey Courtney!" I greeted as Letitia's face had repugnance written all over it. She cleared her throat as she leaned back fixing the button on her white dress suit. "Oh Courtney this is my Fiancée Letitia, baby this is Courtney. She works at my job." I could tell this interaction was not going to go well.

"It's nice to meet you! Nice rock by the way you h-" Letitia interrupted her by smacking her lips. This little overprotective thing she has going on is starting to trigger me. I smiled at Courtney to not make it awkward. "But um, yeah. I'm gonna get going. It was nice seeing you." I felt so bad due to Letitia's behavior.

"You should join us!" Letitia snapped her head at me with wide eyes. Boy the look on her face was absolutely priceless. "No I think it's best I go." Courtney tucked a piece of hair behind her ear as Letitia nodded. "Yeah I think it's best if you go too." Letitia crossed her arms and legs as I rolled my eyes.

"Aye you don't gotta act like that." Courtney said defensively as my eyes widened. We all know Tish is quick to throw a punch to start a fight. I knew how this was gonna go when she stood up from the table and took off her red bottoms. "If it's a problem back the fuck up." She raised her voice as I grabbed her hand.

"Yo Letitia chill out, friend. She didn't do anything wrong." Journey softly said which was the god honest truth. "Courtney, I apologize. Just catch me later." Courtney looked at me and nodded licking her lips and oh boy that set Letitia off.

In a swift movement , Letitia jumped over the table to get to the girl. It was like a rerun of the kickback with Michael. Letitia punched her in her nose as the girl returned it. I love her with my whole heart but it's safe to say, my girl has met her match. I ran over to the other side of the table and pulled Letitia off of her before anymore damage could be done. She was kicking and yelling while I carried her out of the restaurant. When we got outside I put her down and glared at her.

"Letitia are you fucking kidding me right now? You go and embarrass me like that on my BIRTHDAY?!" I spat with venom in my voice. "The girl was looking at you some type of way! She was eye fucking you!" I rolled my eyes at how she was acting. "Tish please! I at least expected you to act differently! It was unnecessary." She smacked her lips while people walked by listening to us argue like a married couple on the sidewalk.

"Well excuse me for trying to defend my wife and my relationship!" She yelled. I'm truly disappointed. "I'm spending the night at journeys. When you stop acting like a child then I'll come back." I shook my head and walked back into the restaurant not even being able to look at her face.
