The entire council sat before their king and their princess unable to speak or look either of them in the eye.
The Large room was still... and quiet, too quiet

"Well? My daughter asked you a question. Answer it." Alexi snapped sternly

Reinnar gulped and cleared his throat "We fortified the entire kingdom. No one has tried to get in, or out in the last seven hours"

"Good. And what of my Uncle? Has he made any type of moves?" Erika asked

"Yes he has." Serapham spoke standing

"What kind of moves?" Alexi asked

"I took a swim back through the Lytherian sea after closing the gates of my kingdom, I swam through a pocket tunnel to the back near that private oasis he has. He was pacing on his balcony with a woman standing close by him. He was venting to her" Serapham said

"A woman?" Alexi asked

"Yes, she looked young but not childlike" he said

"What did she look like, Your Highness?" Adonis asked from his seat across from Renatta

"Fair skinned, mousy blonde hair, she had greenish blue eyes and looked as if"

"As if she were blind?" Adonis finished his sentence

"Yes. exactly, do you know who she is?" Serapham asked

Adonis nodded "She was, is my Uncle's chambermaid, Her name is Celia, she helped him raise me."

"Oh really? You mean he hasn't married her yet? Or worse knocked her up?" Alexi asked harshly

To this Adonis frowned "And what's that supposed to mean,Your Majesty?"

"Nothing in particular, given as how he fucked her on the night before my wife was to marry your precious uncle, I find it amusing how she hasnt been promoted yet, seeing as she was his glorified whore for many years before my wife was sold to him in the first place" Alexi said curtly

"How dare you talk about her that way. Celia has done nothing to you. You're just mad because your wife is dead and she was there for me. Unlike you" Adonis spat harshly

"Why you- How dare you speak about Queen Elyssia like that! I swear! She would roll in her grave if she heard her own son say that about his mother!" Rennatta said outrageously

"ENOUGH! ALL OF YOU!" Erika shouted "I don't want to hear another despicable, cruel word said in my mothers name. Do you all understand me?"

They all nodded in fear and apologized immediately

"Good. Now Adonis I don't care what maternal feelings you developed for this woman, but know this. She is not your mother, she will never be your mother. Our mother. Is buried on Mount Mu'kai. She is dead, yes, but do you know how or why she died?" Erika spoke stoically

"N-no? H-How did she die?" Adonis shuttered at his sisters threatening aura

Erika folded her hands and took a deep breath "Our mother was pregnant with you when our uncle, your predecessor morphed into our father and deceived not only her but me as well. And sent her to the mountain to deliver you with me. She died on that mountain after giving birth to you. And sacrificing herself so that we could live. She SACRIFICED HER MORTAL SOUL FOR YOU. So don't you Ever. EVER! Take her name in vain in front of me or our father again. She died protecting you. And dont you ever fucking forget that little brother."

Erika's eyes were thin as she stared at her brother, who leaned back in his chair as far back as humanly possible for him to do so "I- Erika, Sister I'm sorry I had no idea...it won't ever happen again, I swear it.
