[harry]

a few days later...

we sat around the lunch table on the following wednesday. niall introduced me to a few more of his friends.

their was liam, who was niall's best mate since grade school. liam was quiet, he kept to himself and had an a+ in every class he ever had.

and then there we ashton and luke. ashton was small and frail, he had the thickest glasses and the curliest hair. luke was his boyfriend. he was more outgoing, but still put together and calm. niall explained that they were madly in love, so we wouldn't be seeing much of them around.

i believed it. at the lunch table, all they did was hold hands and talk quietly to themselves, laughing when one of them said something cute.

they didn't care what others thought. they didn't care what others had to say, they were happy.

i smiled as i watched them laugh, not even bothering to touch their food.

but something caught my eye, or someone rather. i watched as he and his group entered the cafeteria. they walked as if they owned the school, striding with pride.

they all had tattoos- four of them. they were visible on their arms and neck. silver too, or piercings. on their eyebrows, lips, and ears. they all looked similar and a weird way.

except for him.

they guy in the middle was different. he was the guy with the most tattoos, the most piercings, the darkest eyeliner, and the darkest clothes.

he was... beautiful.

"uh... niall?" i asked, never looking away from the gorgeous boy before me. "who is that?"

niall scoffed, "don't waste your time."

i forced myself to look at him. "what? why?"

"cus, it's just not gonna happen," he said simply, looking away as if the conversation was over.

"well, can you at least tell me his name?" i asked, a little irritated.

he looked back at me. "louis. louis tomlinson."
