2nd day - Smilers

Chapter 2 - Smilers

Life is so unpredictable. You can't expect your family suddenly doing everything that scares you. You can't expect anything that you don't even want to happen, or maybe you wanted to happen. We don't know what can happen to us or our loved ones the next minute. Life is so unpredictable so be sure to be always prepared.

The second day.

It's now once again morning, 6 AM. The sun is rising, the sky is once again blue but the clouds are getting a little dark by now. As usual, everyone around the country is getting busy, being on their ways to their works, schools, and everything while the streets are now slowly having a little traffic. Lara, as usual, is alone, walking along the sidewalk on the right, having her backpack over her back, wearing her glasses as usual, wearing her uniform and jacket. She's just having this expressionless look on her face as usual, not really pleasant for the people that she walks by because of how scary that looks actually is.
She once again not even bothered to interact with everyone. But she keeps thinking about the nightmare that she had last night, she can't even continue sleeping after that and just keeps staring at the ceiling all night, listening to her calming music just to make herself sleepy but to no avail since thinking about the nightmare.
Lara, she just looks half-dead as always but now she has eyebags under her eyes, making her look more ominous for the others like she's dead-dead.
Once again, Lara now in front of the gates of the school, getting herself ready while watching most of the students meet up with their friends to have fun and all while she's just standing there and being alone.
She felt something wrong, like it feels like it's a 'something' that is sticking through her skin or something. She slowly turns around to see an abandoned barn-like building right in front of school. Lara was sure that it wasn't even there before while the students never even noticed this. She keeps staring at it while the students are staying away from Lara, thinking that she's a little ominous for them while seeing cars ride around the street.
Once she knows that there's no cars that are going to ride on the street, she now starts walking forward, not even hesitating a bit while the students just ignored her. Lara is now walking across the street but there were cars still being on the street but Lara wasn't scared of this knowing that this car is fake and was just her imagination, the cars disappears once they just touched her while she just keeps walking across the street, walking towards the barn-like building.

Once arriving in front of it, she just stares at the building for a second before not even hesitating to open the doors of the building, coming in the doors just to see a whitish colored bed being surrounded by the darkness. Being curious by this Lara slowly walks towards the bed, being unfazed of how this place looks like as if she's now used to being in the darkness. She just keeps walking towards the bed. Once finally arriving at the bed, she just noticed that it's actually a hospital bed, having the heart rate monitor on the right side of the bed, just showing three straight lines, indicating that the person that was in this bed before just died. Lara looks at the bed, seeing it all being messy.
She never knows what this means and just keeps looking at the bed. While staring at the bed, she suddenly noticed something moving under the sheets, she used her right hand to move the sheets away just to see a severed, still moving, hand being there. The hand looks surprised, seeing how it moves.
Lara slowly puts out her left hand to try and grab the hand but the hand suddenly died while doing this.
Lara doesn't know why or how this died but just keeps looking at it.
Since there were no sounds inside the place at all, Lara was startled once she suddenly heard a light opening in front of her, making her look up and see what's in front of her. Just seeing a wall in front of her with a bloody text over it saying: 'DO YOU REMEMBER NOW?'
Lara is just confused by this. Lara was suddenly startled once she suddenly felt someone grabbing her hair, it looks like she was screaming but it's just a soundless scream as the hand grabbed her hair.
