Goodbye Sage

"I um-" I stuttered staring down at the ground, Why was I so nervous I felt emotional as fuck and I hated it, I finally had the confidence at looked up

to see everyone staring directly at me, I again met eyes with Dacre his glance went down to my outfit making me feel even more confident

For some reason?

"I didn't write a speech just thought it would come to my head, I never thought I would be able to graduate everyone knows me as the mean girl I guess"

"Everyone feared me for my reputation and the stuff I've done in my past, But I would like to thank my best friends Ruby and Arabella, You both saw something in me no one else did you weren't afraid to walk around with me and I'm thankful for that,"

They both beamed wiping the tears off their faces making me tear up

"And Beatrice you were probably my biggest enemy now look at us best friends, Cody and Lincoln, Hot on the outside nerds on the inside," They both chuckled out loud smiling towards each other

"Liz and Maze the hottest bitches I've probably ever seen" I rolled my eyes smiling at both of them sitting beside each other

"And Dacre, You were always there for me even tho you are the biggest dick you always found a way to make me truly smile, I'm going to miss your laugh your smile everything about you" tears finally broke through me

And so did him, "I will never forget you, I promise you that and I hope you'll never forget me too I L- I'll miss you, Shit okay I'm done" I chuckled walking off the stadium as everyone clapped for me

"You all made it, Congratulations I hope your new life becomes full of adventure and a new beginning, Good luck" Mr. William spoke on the microphone

Everyone in the stadium counted to 5 for all of us, We all waited and once they made it to 5 we all threw our caps into the air

I ran up to Arabella and Ruby hugging each other tightly, "That was beautiful Sage" Arabella sobbed squealing me tightly

"Thats our cue" Ruby chuckled glimpsing behind me I turned around and glimpsed Dacre holding onto his cap

Having a slight smile on his face, I walked up to him confidently staring directly into those grey eyes

His eyes beamed once he saw me up closer "Congrats" He grimaced grinning "Likewise" This felt different and I hated it

"When are you leaving" He sniffled narrowing his eyes at me, "Midnight, I'm all set" I smile through the pain shrugging my ass off

"Good to hear, So does everyone know?" Dacre asked crossing his arms talking nonchalantly "I'm actually-"

"We out bitches!!" Cody and the group ran up to us wrapping his arms around me and Dacres neck, "Uh guys I have some news" I pull away from Cody as they all stared at me with a smile except for Dacre

"I'm leaving, For Dallas tonight" I sigh staring down at all of them as their smile slowly faded "What" They all spoke at the same time. "So this is my goodbye" I smile as they gave me a group hug

"We'll miss you sage" Arabella said in excitement. Their smile came back we all walked to the front of the school where all the parents were, I ran up to Ashley Seb and mom giving them all a hug

"Sage, we need to talk" Dacre sighed grabbing onto my wrist "Sure? I'll be back guys" I smile walking as Dacre dragged my wrist toward him

"I'm trying so hard to be okay with this but I'm not, I'm fucking not you can't just leave because of a shit hole?!" Dacre shouted out loud in frustration

His glance looked deadly his jaw was clenched as he talked, "I'm leaving because I want a new start and if you can't accept that then maybe we shouldn't be friends everyone else seemed fine with it"

I shrugged and spoke with an attitude, "Sage... Never mind have a good life" Dacre sighed and walked away

I quickly grab onto his wrist dragging him onto me as I pull him into a hug, He gasped slowly wrapping his arms around me "We'll meet again, You'll look at me and I'll look at you with smiles on our faces"

I let go of our hug, Dacre immediately walked away after that.

As I finished packing the rest of my stuff Arabella and Ruby walked in, "We came to say goodbye" Ruby smiled holding a picture frame with her

I walked towards them basically jumping into their arms, We all sobbed crying onto each other shoulder

"I'll miss you guys" I sobbed in their arms as tears rolled down my cheek, "We'll miss you too" They both spoke at the same time

I let go of our hug as Ruby handed me the picture frame, It was the 3 of us before disaster happened we all had genuine smiles and had an amazing night

"Call us when you get off the plane" Arabella smiled wiping the tears off her cheek, "I will" I nodded my head placing the picture frame into my bag 

They walked out as I stayed behind staring at my empty room. I'll really miss this place it was fun while it lasted

I shut my door and walked outside...

"It's time" I spoke turning around giving my mom a tight hug, "Please don't forget me" Mom whimpered, I wiped the tear off her face before giving her another tight hug

"I'll never forget about you mom" I whispered in her ear softly, "I'll see you in a couple of months" Ashley walked up to me giving me another hug

I smiled and nodded my head, "Goodbye Sage" They all waved goodbye as I watched them walk away from me

As I was about to walk into the airplane "Sage!" I heard someone shout my name
