Clara's (Crystal's) POV
Hi, I'm Clara, but call me Crystal please. I'm an eighth grader in Singapore Prebysterian Middle School*. Apart from being an enthusiastic, hardworking student in 1 going 2 Happiness, I am also a passionate, responsible editor on Instagram, going by tenyaxtiara on that platform.

I edit with Alight Motion Pro, am in about 12 editing groups (I lead 2) and have generally been improving on my editing. I have spent two years editing, enjoying every moment with it, while my studies are doing just fine.

However, this is an occasional insecurity for me. Sometimes, it does become too much for me. Other times, I wish people understood I had a life outside Instagram and all. Yes, I might be an influencer, but no, I don't have my set of problems.
Natalie's POV
Hi, I'm Natalie. I'm a seventh grader in Singapore Prebysterian Middle School. I love anime like Crystal does, but never got accepted like Crystal. In fact, people keep making fun of me.

"You like Precure? Oh, you must be lesbian!"

"Touch grass for God's sake!"

"You will never have a boyfriend!"

And the list of insults go on and on. Man, how I wish I could embrace my interests like Crystal did...!

My parents are the strictest on earth. They don't allow social media unless it's for school. And even if it's for school, they will be having regular spot checks on my accounts. It always feels like I'm always kept on a tight leash.

One day, when my classmates gathered around my table for once, they asked in unison, "Hey Natalie, do you have Instagram?"

"No," I answered honestly.

"Come on, don't be a loser."

"Dude, it's literally banned in my family."

"Don't listen to your parents. I'll help you download Instagram. Give me your phone." I did as told and they helped me download it. Passing it back to me, they chorused, "Have fun setting up your account! If you need help, call us, recess isn't ending anytime soon!"

I then smiled. I was finally able to fit in. Following the instructions given, I used my personal email (since it isn't linked to the family computer)  to make a private account. Voila. It was done within minutes.

The girls came back to me and questioned, "So, Nat, how was it~~~?"

"Success!" I replied enthusiastically. "What are all your users?"

We all exchanged users and promised to start a chat. I was hyped that instant. Finally, I was going to have some friends.

Clicking the explore page, I decided to search some of my favourite shows, wanting to figure out how this app worked. After following a few hashtags, a video popped up.

Curiosity killed the cat, and I clicked the video

Curiosity killed the cat, and I clicked the video. Everything about the video was familiar. The movie, the song... even the style. I then read the description.

That was from an editor? That was so professional!

My mind kept racing for the rest of the school day, wondering about the wonders of becoming an editor.
