It's been 2 hours and i've read the first book 2 times and i think i'm starting to understand it now
"Im done" i said and looked up to Mattheo
"Great" he smiled and clapped his hands "it's 2pm let's go get some lunch what do you fancy" he asked me
"I don't mind whatever you want" i said with a smile and he smirked at me "i see your starting to remember but i want you to pick so tell me what you want"
He walked up put his finger under my chin to make me look up at him, i could feel my breath get faster and fast with every second i don't answer
'Come on Adelaide say something anything' i thought to myself 'why can't i speak' i thought to myself
"Thats because im in your mind and i can control your brain" Mattheo said i looked at him confused
'How did he' before i could finish my sentence in my mind he spoke "it's a riddle thing we can read everyone's mind it gets passed on through the generation and when i marry my future wife will get it but only once i marry her" he finally let me spoke "what happens if you die does the power get taken away from her?"
He shook his head and said "no but she becomes stronger she gets all my powers and keeps it but if she chooses to marry again after i die the next person she marries will get nothing"
I nodded and we left his office
We decided to go get some lunch with Theo and Ginny
We decided to go to a muggle restaurant called Caffe Concerto
As we entered he spotted them straight away but i could see Ginny until she turned around she turned her head to the bathroom and i nodded
I whisper in Mattheo ear saying im heading to the bathroom and he nodded
As i enter the bathroom Ginny turns the sink on all the way and i look at her confused
Just as she was about to say something i spoke quickly
"Be Careful what you think the Riddle family can all read minds" i said her eyes opened wide "the Notts can hear from far"
Something about what she said didn't make any sense but i didn't think it just incase he was in my mind
I nodded towards the door and she agreed
We had lunch then they dropped us back to the burrow
As we entered her room i cast a silencing spell so no one would listen
"So i was reading the book my mother gave me before we left" i said and she nodded "she mentions to be weary of the Nott family and the Riddles"
She looks at me confused "why did your mother say to be careful of them"
"That's the thing it wasn't her writing"
