Hornet cautiously approached the bench, unsure of what to do. The ghost sat perfectly still as she approached from behind. She dared to walk around to the front side of the bench. His eyes were shut.

He is sleeping!

Once again trusting her intuition even though it surprised her, she sat herself down on the bench next to him, feeling the warmth his body. She didn't mind that her shawl was exposing half of her body since he was sleeping anyway. Hornet sat in an awkward manner for a few moments, unsure of what to do. All of a sudden, he lifted his head and slowly awoke, shaking the sleep out of his head. As he noticed Hornet sitting in the corner of his eye, he slowly turned his head up and looked straight at her. She felt flustered for a moment, not having had time to adjust her shawl, but decided to see what happens. Without even attempting to fix it, she spoke.

"So we meet again, little ghost. What brings you to the Mantis Village?"

The ghost stared for a moment, unsure of how to respond. Slowly, he turned his head back and stood up from the bench. She stood up as well, hoping he didn't intend to flee. Instead, he slowly began to walk away, towards the throne room. Not knowing how to react, Hornet stood awkwardly watching him. Suddenly, she felt an odd urge to... undo her shawl even more? Of course, she disposed of the notion quickly. But deep down, she knew it would come back to haunt her, like everything else she pushed away.

It was certainly an awkward encounter. Clearly the ghost still didn't want to fight her, but was still somewhat offended from last time. At the very least, he didn't consider her a friend. Hornet sighed as she realized this would be harder than it was with Quirrel. Thinking of Quirrel made her smile as she realized she had made a friend earlier, and she hoped they'd meet again.

The ghost had left the bench area and was quickly approaching the throne room. Hornet was unsure of what to do, not wanting to join him before the thrones out of respect for the Lords, yet afraid that he might pick a fight with them. She realized she was again forcing her worst fears onto the ghost, but what else could he be going to the throne room for? Perhaps he didn't know it was a throne room? She settled for this conclusion. After all, it was quite impossible that he had been here before. As she followed him from close behind, he finally reached the throne room, and strode right in.

The Mantis Lords sat conversing on their regal thrones, probably discussing tribal matters. Or perhaps they were simply chatting. They were friends, even sisters, after all. Yet they were powerful warriors, and Hornet was afraid as she watched the ghost boldly walk across the room. Upon realizing the door to the next room was locked, he faced the Lords. They had noticed him and were pointing at him and talking amongst themselves. Then the ghost did something Hornet never expected- he drew his nail and challenged him. The Lords immediately stood up, bowed, and rushed at him. He leapt into the air, expertly dodging them all. As the fight progressed into full swing, he masterfully avoided their attacks and went on the offense, skillfully executing cut after cut on all three until one by one they retreated back to their thrones in surrender, bowing their heads in respect for the small warrior.
