Vanessa's POV
School was finally over. Finally. After that incident at the cafeteria, I decided I would some how I get my revenge and forget what she said about me but I can't stand the fact I was humiliated in front of the school.
"I'll see you later. I have to get home quick. Bye." I tell Aubrey as I rush out the school doors. I go to the parking lot and to Andrews car and see him there waiting.
"Took you long enough." He says. I roll my eyes and get in the car. He speeds home.
"so who's the unexpected guest you speak of is coming over tonight?" I ask curiously. It had been bugging knowing who was gonna come.
" Alpha Max from the pack of 'The Nightwalker pack' is coming. I don't know why though." He informs me. I nod. But still curious why he was coming. I know I know I do get curious a lot. Once we're home, I go inside the house and go upstairs to my room. I quickly change into different clothes. Wait. What time is he coming at? I open the door and yell at my brother from the stairs,
"ANDREW, WHAT TIME IS ALPHA MAX COMING AT?!?!" I shout.
"I DUNNO. AT 7:00 PM I'M ASSUMING." He yell responses. Assumes..? It is 6 right now soo I have an hour. I go to the living room and watch my favorite show, 'bobs burger.' Its super awesome. I've already watched 2 episodes already I think. I glance at the time and realize its 7 pm. And the Alpha is probably gonna be here any second now.
*Ding Dong*
Spoke to soon. I quickly get up and notice my brother going to the door and opening the door. I look over to see who it is, and its just Uncle James and his beta Ethan. Yay. I thought it was them but it wasn't.
"Hey Uncle James." I greet "Hey Ethan" I greet him too.
"Hey kiddo. How are you!" He greets back. I smile.
"Im good. And yourself?" I ask politely. "Been good myself too." I smile and my brother greets him too. I start heading upstairs and wait for the Alpha to come when I smelt the most wonderful thing ever. It smelt like. Like waterfalls. I sniff even more to see where it was coming from.
'Oh my! This smell is beautiful! ' Angel bounces.
'I know, where is it coming from.' I say. I turn around to see a 6'8" handsome, hot looking male greeting my brother. His hair was in a quiff, his body was built and he was even tan.
'Mate! Mate! Go to mate!' Angel bounces up and down. Wait what? He was the one and only. Alpha Max. I look at him and his face meets mine. It was quiet between us, when suddenly I heard a growl.
'MINE'
Oh dear. He just said mine. Oh.My.God. He comes over to me and pulls me by my waist closer to him.
"You are mine. And mine only." He says in my ear. I was terrified. "And If I see you with any other male ever. I will have no choice but to kill him and I won't hesitate to punish you either, understand?" He warns me.
How can a cold blooded monster like him be mine? He is one of the most fierce warrior ever! And now he is being possessive over me.
I try to talk to him but only manage to stutter out a few words being the scaredy squirrel I am.
"I. I a-am not yo-yours to ke-keep. I don't need you" I stutter. Shit his eyes turned black. Meaning he's angry. Fuck.
'what are you doing! he is our mate! ' Angel screams but I try to ignore her. Mate or not.
I was about to say those words that he probably wouldn't want to hear right now.
" I, Vanessa Pines reject you Ma-"
"NO! DON'T YOU DARE SAY THOSE WORDS!" He shouts. I back away a little scared at his behavior right now. I forgot that my brother and uncle and his beta were there watching our "drama". My brother interferes between us.
"What are you talking about! You were only here to discuss things here. Not to mate with my sister! " He says. Alpha Max turns his face to meet with his.
"Actually this was the thing I came here discuss with you guys. I needed to find my mater here. I knew my mate would be here. And now that I found her I can go back to my pack." He says smirking at me. Oh hell no! I am not going back with this man here back to his territory. I rather die.
"There is no way your taking her! I will not let you do such thing!" Andrew said making the monster here angrier even more. Alpha Max grabs Andrew by his neck and clutches him in the air not letting go.
"I don't care what you have to say. She is MY mate and If I say she comes with me then that means she comes back with me! UNDERSTOOD?" He demands. He was gasping for air. I try to push him away and let him go of Andrew.
"Let go of him! What is wrong with you, you asshole!" I scream at him not giving a shit about him. He looks at me and tosses Andrew like he's some toy. He walks closer to me like I back up. He smirks knowing Im terrified of him now. I am up against the wall now, no where to escape now. He puts his arm on the side of the wall and leans above my figure.
"Oh babe. It doesn't mean your my mate that you can disrespect me. That will not happen." He warns. "And if you do such thing. There will be consequences." He threatens. "Now go pack your stuff. We're leaving first thing tomorrow morning." He informs. What. I can't leave. I see my uncle standing there like a statue, same with Ethan and my brother. He's just shocked by hearing what just happened.
What has just happened.
