Vanessa's POV
*Beep Beep* My alarm clock went off. I smack the stupid thing that woke me up and threw it who knows where. I got up and sat on my bed, stretching. God, the memories flood back to my head when Alpha Max claimed me to be his and, and told me to pack my stuff. I look over to the corner where all my luggage relies. My room is gone. Empty. I guess this is how Im supposed to live from now on. I get up and go to the washroom and brush my teeth. Once Im done doing my business, I go downstairs where I see a angry Andrew, furious uncle James and his beta Ethan and that son of a asshole Alpha Max. Once I make my way downstairs, all eyes were on me. I hate attention. Alpha Max approaches me first with Andrew giving him a hard cold glare which basically he doesn't give a shit about him.
"We are leaving in an hour. So get all your stuff downstairs, its gonna be a 5 hour drive." He informs. I frown. I don't want to go, I don't want to leave my only family behind. I stare up at Alpha Max with pity eyes hoping he would at least change his mind of letting me stay. He just shakes his head and grabs my luggage and out the door he goes. Wow. If he did love his me, his mate, a lot then he would let me stay here even though I don't need him.
"You have 2 minutes to say your goodbyes then its time to go. okay?" Alpha Max tells me. I look over at Andrew first. I make my way over to him, I stand in front of him with tears in my eyes. He looks up at me and I see tears in his eyes too. Awe. I hug him so hard that I don't want to ever let go.
"I'm sorry I couldn't let him make you stay. He is the Alpha and I'm not so I couldn't protect you like I do." Andrew cried on my shoulder.
"No Andrew, its not your fault. He's an asshole. Some how I will run away from him." I tell him. I kiss his cheek and go over to a very shocked uncle James.
"Bye Uncle James, I'll miss you so." I say my goodbye to him and hug him
"Don't worry. I will some how get my angel back. I love you and forget that." Uncle James kisses my cheek and hugs me back. I look over at Ethan and smile at him and hug him and saying my last goodbyes to them. I go out the door and I see Alpha Max and his beta standing at the car. I wondered if I can outsmart them and escape without them knowing. Fuck! He knows what my scent is, he'll just track me down and catch me. Well there's no backing now. I look around and see a back door leading towards the garden. I sneakily tip toe pass towards those two and run as fast as I can towards the back. I knew I didn't have time to actually open the gate so I jump over the little white gate and dash towards the forest. As I was running and dodging all the branches and trees, until out of nowhere a black wolf jumps right in front of me, like literally RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME! I was nose to nose with this wolf.
Oh god. I know who with wolf was.
