Vanessa s P.O.V
I've been sitting in this room for the past 2 hours doing nothing but watching TV. Max and I didn't talk after that argument we had but I really needed to be with him...
WAIT NOPE!
I'm not talking to him.
"But I need him. I want to touch him." My wolf cried.
Well to bad. He needs to learn how respect us. I say to my wolf
"But I want him. I can feel his wolf reaching out to us." my wolf purrs
Damn you, you stupid mate pull. -___-
I try my best to ignore my wolf as she continually tries to talk to me and go to our mate. I even try to distract myself by either playing video games or watch TV. I play GTA 5 which is like my goddamn favorite game ever! Which I can't happen to focus playing on because my wolf keeps bugging me. Sigh fine, maybe I'll just see what he's up to so my wolf can shut up for a few. I pause my game so I can continue later on, I get up and exit the room and follow the directions to Max's office by sniffing his scent which was still visible through the air. As I come to a stop in front of the office, as I was about to reach for the doorknob I hear some giggling and voices coming from inside, curious as I am I put my ear on the door and listen.
"Come on baby. Why don't you let me cheer you up! Maybe we can go to my bedroom and take it from there.. I hear a girl voice say. Gasp. I growl at the fact that Max is with a girl. I recognize that voice, so I open the door and both of their heads snap up towards me. I see who the girl is and its the same bimbo from when I bumped into earlier. I see Max who looks at me with wide eyes.
"Are you serious right now. I come to see you but I see you're busy with someone else so I'll just come back later." I say and walk back out. As I was about to shut the door
"Wait! Its not what it looks li-" I cut him off buy shutting the door so hard.
I can't believe this idiot. Saying that we're mates and now he's fucking someone else behind my back, just great! I walk through the halls and bump into someone again.
"Shit! I'm sorry I wasn't looking where I was walking." I look up and see its the same girl from the meeting room last week, Natasha. I smile
"Its okay, its my fault too I'm sorry." I apologise, she smiles and nods at me
"Aren't you the alphas mate, Vanessa that everyone is talking about?" she asks, wow people are talking about me?
"uhh yea?" I reply she laughs
"Well its nice to finally meet you! I'm Natasha." she greets, I smile nodding my head
"Yea I figured at the meeting last week when Max asked me about the sleepover..." I put the air quotes for "sleepover". She laughs again
"Yea, I was really confused too." "Did you go somewhere that you didn't want alpha Max to figure out?" she asks, I shift uncomfortably
"Yea.. I wanted to go back to my pack knowing Max wouldn't let me." I say with a chuckle
"Anyways, there's a party this Saturday and I was hoping if you wanted to come with?" she asks. That seems like a good distraction from everything. Ugh but Max would never let me. Wait. He's not the boss of me. Yea I'll just go. I nod my head
"Yea I'll come." I say she smiles
"Great! Here's my number I'll text you the details. We're going with my other friends too!" she says. We say our goodbyes and leave in different directions. I actually can't wait to go and make some new friends and with all this things going on I can finally have a good time.
