Jeongguk remained for a moment longer in the doorway, lost in thought, starting at the unknow boy.
"What are you doing?" Jimin pulled him inside, closing the door. "Go take a shower at once"
"Yes... I'm coming" somewhat disoriented, the boy went up to the second floor and went to bathe.
From his bedroom window, he looked across the street. With the curtains drawn, he couldn't see anything at all, so he grimaced and finished dressing to go down for lunch. He was particularly curious about the new neighbors who had come to occupy the house across the street, because this boy didn't look like anything he had seen before. His annoyed expression, almost annoyed with life, contrasted with the place around him, added to his beautiful face. To the younger he didn't make sense to be upset on a beach vacation.
Later that day, while he was laughing and playing with his cousins and neighbors; the guy from the front reappeared. Jeongguk seemed to be the only one who had seen him. The teenager kept the expression weary of him, while he sat on the rocks next to the steps. Jeon did not miss a detail of each of his movements, noticing how he took a box out of his pocket, and after a while, he was able to identify that it was a cigarette that he was taking to his mouth, lighting it.
"Ggukie!" He noticed the voices of his friends, just before the ball landed directly on his head, throwing him to the ground.
"Ahg!" he complained, rubbing his temple, where he had received the impact.
"Where were you?" Jimin annoyed him. "Earth calling Jeongguk!" his cousin followed the direction of his gaze, seeing the neighbor in the distance. "And that one? Who is he?"
"He came along with the married couple we saw a while ago" explained the youngest, getting back to his feet. "It wasn't just a couple; he must be his son"
"Hmm... I see" Jimin kept looking at him curiously.
"Are we going to play or Jeongguk will need an ambulance?" Hoseok joked.
"Should we invite him?" Jeon asked his cousin, ignoring his neighbor's joke. "He looks lonely"
"He seems like the typical potential juvenile delinquent" he commented. Yes, you have to invite him to play" he smiled broadly.
"What's happening?" Taehyung came to them, wanting to find out why they were taking do long talking.
"Do you remember the new neighbors?" said his cousin. "That's his son and Ggukie wants to invite him to play"
"The guy with the cigarette?" he was shocked, opening his eyes, while he got closer to his cousins. "Are you sure?"
"It's not like he's going to hit us, this isn't school, TaeTae" Jimin patted him on the shoulder.
"Why are you still here talking?" Namjoon approached, accompanied by Hoseok and Yoongi, forming a circle around Jeongguk.
"Ggukie wants to invite the son of his new neighbors to play" Jimin explained, running a hand through his blonde hair, pulling it back.
"But he's smoking over there" Tae added, somewhat reticent and distrustful.
"Oh..." Namjoon took a look at him. "It's just a cigarette, it's not like he's taking drugs" he downplayed the matter, lightening Taehyung's concerns.
"I'll go invite him over", Jeongguk offered, who was the most sociable of the group of six, and who had no problem talking to anyone, flashing his big-toothed smile and his bright eyes.
"Hurry up" Hoseok asked.
"And yell if he does anything to you" Yoongi warned.
"I'll be fine!" assured the youngest, starting to run towards the rocks.
