It's been twenty years since we wedded. Our dogs are still here. Rose and thorn, I named rose; I wanted Liam to call the other he went with thorn; at first, I wouldn't say I liked it, but after I saw it, their personalities were similar. My garden grows yearly, and Liam helps me with everything I do. His hands shake sometimes; when that happens, I hold his hands and breathe with him, telling him that he's safe, and so am I.
He gave up the career of being a cop; I support his decision. He tries to keep in shape from time to time; he's lazy I don't mind him getting larger.
The dogs love him; he loves playing with them in the water.Years pass our time together; we spend in delight; our dogs die, and we grieve and move on.
We're old now, rocking in our chairs, holding hands, looking up into the moonlight aura, and enjoying every moment with each other. In the garden, there lies Liam and Ethan, surrounded my all sorts of roses. Together forever.
